QUOTE(owikh84 @ Sep 14 2012, 10:53 PM) IMC is more important for RAM OC. I got some chips that were 2800 capable but I sold them coz the other one has better vCore. ASRock OC Formula has nickshih's DNA that's why it can be an awesome OC board. But dunno when will it reach Msia. Asus Maximus V Extreme also still not appear here for sure it's a stronger mobo than the MVF Both boards are available on newegg.

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Sep 16 2012, 10:51 PM) Still can't achieve 2800 with whatever effort. Tried booting at different BCLK & slowly raising it via AI but maxed out 2780 only. Dunno what happen bro Dumo given me lots of advices but just couldn't make it 2800. Tested with my 2800 capable Team 2600C10 kit also will not post at 2800.
Most prolly I will ask Dumo to exchange with another chip, if it's still refuse to clock to what it should be.
Did you guys with ROG Asus, using "ROG Exchange" to load same setting in your BIOS? or maybe wait for MVE to arrive. Btw owi, did you notice that our TeamX 2600 4x4GB has different XMP then 2x4GB kit. 2x4GB This post has been edited by stasio: Sep 17 2012, 12:15 PM

QUOTE(lat_lonelyboyz @ Oct 9 2012, 07:02 PM) I think cpu-z read his vcore incorrectly Even my cpu-z SC shown 1.2vCore when i push my vCore to 1.25v Or maybe idle vCore "OCLab.ru" WR make official submissions with it.

QUOTE(owikh84 @ Oct 10 2012, 04:35 PM) OMG! Such an unexpected drop. Damn i should have waited for Corsair Platinum 2800C11 4X4 instead of buying the overpriced G.Skill TridentX 2800C11 2X4 for the same price!!!!
Yea, and Corsair Platinum 2x4GB 2666C11 is only RM520 (with delivery). Owi, it's worth to buy? This post has been edited by stasio: Oct 10 2012, 05:01 PM

Haha, I don't think my CPU IMC can reach this value. (new 3226B953 batch seems to be good) On XS I also noted a week ago, about 2800C11 @ 11-14-14,but so far didn't see any. Newegg stil show pic with 11-13-13. This post has been edited by stasio: Oct 10 2012, 11:31 PM
