All those that played BETA of course says no issue with 200~300ms latency, when the game goes live the amount of players will increase thousand folds then you will see the true meaning of lag.
*
erm didn't the open beta weekend already prove it will not be an issue? They max out the amount of active login, and people have to wait in queue to login. Even then lag was not an issue, because of the way how D3 works. It is not your typical online game.

D3 clients don't need to wait for confirmation from the server side. This is the main reason why minor lag will not be an issue.

anyone here is familiar with paypal?

what is the different of personal account and premier account?

for D3 play what type of account should i register?

thanks~
*
No difference, if you don't own an online shop.
If you do, then Premier acc can receive CC payment. Personal acc cannot.

thanks for that.

1 more noob question:

under same Paypal account, i can have usd and rm? eg: my acc having RM20 and USD50. possible?

Added on May 2, 2012, 6:29 pmnow, when i register my paypal acc under my credit card, it charge me 1USD for that. what is the logic and reason behind  hmm.gif
*
I think so if you reload with RM then will show in RM. I am not so sure about this tho. Coz I only used for USD transactions hahahah.

They charge yo USD1 to confirm that they can bill to your CC. You will see the USD 1 in your paypal acc once your CC approve it.

Added on May 2, 2012, 6:35 pm
the downloader on first page, although it takes nearly forever to have it starting to download, and it's slow
*
Erm... did you forward the port required port to your PC? or do you have any QoS set to prevent torrenting?

QUOTE
The Blizzard Downloader requires that TCP ports 6881 through 6999 forwarded.

I download the whole package in 1 day..

yup if you plan on selling 1st. if you plan on buying then you need some way to reload money into Bnet. The easiest is by CC.

need to ask all the sifu here... the port for diablo 3 is:

80: HTTP
1119: Game client; Patch version queries by the Launcher
6881-6999: Launcher; Downloading

http://us.battle.net/support/en/article/di...rts-information

port 80 no need to port forward right?

only 1119 and 6881-6999 needed to be port forwarded right??
*
Short answer:
Yes.

Long answer:
Depends on what type of router you are using smile.gif most typical ones no need, cause its forwarded automatically.
If you have a fully programmable ones then you may need to forward it. eg. cisco routers

they all play the same game, but auction house is different, MY SG goes to US, SEA is Chi, Jap and Kor
*
There is NO SEA Region/Servers. I think U meant ASIA.

only 3 Region.
The Americas - For players in the US, Canada, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
Europe - For players in the European Union, Eastern Europe, Russia, Africa, and Middle Eastern countries such as Israel and the United Arab Emirates.
Asia - For players in South Korea and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.

I'm a bit confused btw the regions. Some are selling MY,SG,SEA and US region. What are the difference btw them? Sorry if this been asked. This will be my first time buying game in 5 years.
*
Refer to the link about about region.

D3 is Global. Means it doesn't matter where you buy your game, you can play in all servers. However you are bound to your home region's RMAH. And your home region is not determine by the version of the game you buy, but by your country of residence of your battle.net account.

As to why the price difference and why people are selling different "versions". This is because of the Distributors. They need to make some $$. If you want to cut out the middle man, just make an US address B.Net account and buy D3 Digitally for USD59.90. Which I believe is the cheapest out there. Unless of cause you have contacts in the US.

QUOTE(LemoNT @ May 6 2012, 09:35 PM)
No, the Asia server is hosted in Korea.
First, Malaysia to grouped with US RMAH not Asia.
Second, it is only a 100+ ms difference when connecting to US Beta Server.
Connecting to Asia (Beta) server was ~150-200ms while US was ~250-350ish ms.

If you want to be connecting to Asia server you will need to create a BattleNet acc with Korea, Taiwan and misc address to use the RMAH.
Furthermore, you may encounter difficulties with language as they may use Chinese/Korean/Japanese as primary language there.

Choice is yours and it is open for you to play in any region if you're not using the RMAH.
*
Correction. Asia Servers NO RMAH. Due to legal issues.

Only at launch, it'll be implemented in later on:

Yeah, if Blizz can convince the Korean Gov to lift the Ban then maybe got chance to get RMAH. But by the looks of things and how it was previously I dont think Asia will be getting a RMAH for a very long time.

previous issue which may have caused the delay of D3.
