Latency was non-issue during Beta.
200-300ish ping gameplay was smooth with very little spikes.

Even if you play on Asia beta server, the ping only drops to 100-200ish

All those that played BETA of course says no issue with 200~300ms latency, when the game goes live the amount of players will increase thousand folds then you will see the true meaning of lag.

Not so. Unless Blizzard actually screws up their servers or their server network connection.
Network wise, the Beta server is already in the same data center as the live servers.
Your connection from Malaysia to it is already determined via the hops/routing.

Keep in mind that they are already hosting WoW servers for years of experience under their belt now.

EDIT:
Bare in mind that your network connection can still be "tweaked" (eg: Tunneling/VPN) like WoW but if it's <400ms it was already playable.

erm didn't the open beta weekend already prove it will not be an issue? They max out the amount of active login, and people have to wait in queue to login. Even then lag was not an issue, because of the way how D3 works. It is not your typical online game.

D3 clients don't need to wait for confirmation from the server side. This is the main reason why minor lag will not be an issue.

All D3 potential buyer beware..... Pls buy D3 only from established seller here. Was told that some seller apparently cut all communication after receiving deposits OR full payment. Dont be swayed by cheap price. Additional RM5 or RM10 is NOTHING compare to ease of mind.

Dont risk RM160 for the sake of saving RM5 or RM10. GET FROM ESTABLISHED SELLER. Too many cons and cheats out there.
