QUOTE - How do we approach an airport runway nicely and straightly?? I take it u're trying to do it in FS2004 Start by lining up with the ILS , then just follow the indicators . Make small adjustments only . Just a couple taps of the keyboard shud be enough . Dont flare too early Alternatively , u can utilize the auto -land feature . Just turn on the auto approach . Do this when or before u're about 8 nm out . if u do it too late , the plane will starting swaying to the left and right Hope that helps

QUOTE dude, how much is this cool stuff sellin arr?...it looks kinda interesting Got mine for RM419.90 @ Midvalley I dunno about the 0.90 , but the salesperson said that it was the supplier price QUOTE wait a minute... I didnt know the x52 has a twist stick rudder. Dammit I always thought it was a bit too "bling-bling" (with all those lights). Yeah the only problem I have with the x45 is the rudder. Not impossible to use but a bit weird if youre used to the twist rudder. Haha ... yea , the x52 has a twist stick rudder . Difference from the x45 is that it has a rudder lock . It's some button that u engage for people who cant stand twisty sticks

QUOTE Corad : Do you still use the twist rudder? If so how does it feels (accurate?, sluggish?, don't bother using em?). Its been a toss up for me about this between X45 and X5 Hmmm ....... it's pretty accurate , but cannot beat the real thing

QUOTE Dont know if this is normal or my problem, when i am flying an aircraft using joystick, if i do not hold the joystick to back, the nose will head down on his own. Check if your joystick is calibrated propely 1st The aircraft nose would also pitch down if u dont hv enough airspeed , u can overcome this by either adding more power or deploying the flaps

QUOTE(Lestat @ Jul 29 2006, 04:55 AM) RM310-320?! wow..man..dats so cheap.. mind tell us where u got it? can u tell me, is it true that rudder is controlled by twisting the joystick? btw, im using x45, bought a bit more than a year ago. at that time x52 oredi out but no where to be found in kl Kedai Komputer UK , MidValley there . Yep , rudders r controlled by twisting the stick, Saitek included a "rudder lock" as well , for those like me who cant stand stick that twist

QUOTE(NightShadow @ Dec 12 2006, 11:55 PM) i'm wondering the same question. i have yet to check my other post. anyway, some shots. touchdown at miri. spoilers up. flaps at 40 degrees. nothing else knowledgable to say.. same shot but from a different angle. you can see the addon Miri terminal in here Wing view. Thrust reversers activated when nose wheel touches ground. Miri terminal in background. <3 abcxyz, are you talking about local airports? local airports arentdone very well and you have to download addons. try www.avsim.com Centre line centre line centre line

what traffic do you guys use ? I'm torn in between Adobe and SKAI ... I know the "grey area" these freeware packages are in .. but they really do make it so easy rather than download and customize all the AI flightplans
