FYI, I bought my FLX SE less than one month after it's launch, I got free TnG card, steering lock, windscreen top 7 inch tint, side windows sandblasting.

No discount though coz new model that time.

How as in what? power? comfort? features?

Power is sufficient, a fact that is also true for the 1.3 if you are a regular city driver. Naik genting both 1.3 and 1.6 also no problem, regardless of MT or CVT.

Comfort, 1.6 is worse due to the low profile tires on 15" rims. 1.3 is more comfortable, but still stiffer than FL and BLM. NVH is not so good, no sound insulation, you can feel every bump on your steering and your butt. Ride is pretty harsh.

Both 1.6 and 1.3 exec variants have 2 airbags, driver and passenger. The 1.6 comes with leather seats and bodykits (and the aforementioned 15" rims).

Naturally, a 1.6 engine would be more powerful than a 1.3, but that depends on your driving style whether you need that extra power. If you mom is gonna drive it, better to get a 1.3 instead due to relatively better comfort.

1.6 theoretically handles better due to low profile tires, but the stock Silverstone M5 is junk.

In terms of power, I think you should take a test drive yourself, with your mom, because I really have no idea what is your expectation.

FYI, 1.3 isn't that slow either.
