Need opinion here. Can BLM change the immobilizer & alarm unit at Plotong? I have never been to CsOe(don't know what it stands for,but I know its the main service centre @ shah alam).Desperately needed to change them both, should you have the contact/lobang to call up those people in Plotong, can provide me the detail please?

My client came & report theft loss of her FL yesterday. We lodged police report & treat it as unrecoverable case. This morning 8:30 received a call from sergeant stating the car was recovered 100% without a scratch! According to report, the previous owner saw the car, use spare key unarm the car, straight away drive home! Immobilizer also no use, because the thief is using ORIGINAL key!!!

This is 1 of the classic case the previous owner just bring the car home. May be he miss his FL so much(or plan to send kedai potong soon). We're lucky managed to find it,there are many cases of missing vehicle even the owner left the car for less than 2 minutes. It now all make sense. Because the theif is using original key to gain access. Most of these case are used car or they lost their car key before! The whole company started investigation, all flipping for previous owner's contact in the hope of they're still keeping the car @ home.

Now I'm worried! Can anybody provide me some information pleaseeeeee...

Change to better aftermarket alarm or install pedal lock.

My last Iswara and others car that I ride don't have this sound so I consider it as not normal. After ON the engine can hear the sound continuously without the car running..

Don't wanna crush my balls, rather die. My Dengkil magician said, take out the immobilizer cheap, stick it in the car somewhere , then change to aftermarket alarm set instead. After that, install GPS tracking system. Put a DIGI prepaid simcard, maintian 138/year to keep the card active since the GPS doesn't call often. Whenever needed, call the car to shut down engine When I ask how much to do that, he smiled and say nevermind lah

Your friend must be opting for Magnatrap which is highly unnecessary.

I wont say it would be less than RM150, but it will be around that figure, depending on they type of engine oil used. WHen they asked what oil you want to use, do not ever answer "normal" oil because for the SC, their normal oil refers to mineral grade oil.

Booklet for FLX is recommend using 10W30, i wonder what oil SC will put in during service?

paid for the oil only lo, which I bought outside.

Went in to claim the faulty horn switch, so the charges for filter and gasket plug is waived.

My car now 64k adi, 2years 8 months

I plan for next service on this Saturday (outside)..

I only plan for normal service, which full sycn + oil filter only, maybe will swap 4 tyres position and balancing.

The parts that i yet to replaced (overdue alot according to service manual) now included:

1. Spark plug - 12k service 'paksa' changed by SC, until now. Normal SPs? they are good for at most 40k km wor. normally change at 20k km service. Why they paksa you to change?

2. Radiator coolant - 17k service 'paksa' changed by SC, until now. (Last time ever i went for Proton SC, dun like 'paksa' service ) Open and see, no rust nor dirt in the coolant water, still clean and clear. No need gua. But no harm changing also la since it is important to engine health.

3. Power steering fluid - new car until now. Not sure, but I'd change it.

4. Brake fluid - new car until now. Change, coz need to bleed also.

5. fuel filter - new car until now. Change, according to service schedule.

So for item 1 - 5, is it necessary to change it?

Well, my FC now still as good as new car, power wise din noticed losses, brake still OK, a little bit vibration under braking, what i thought is due to worn brake pad. Power steering feel good. Brake vibrate may be due to warped disc. Ask foreman to check.

So what you guys think?

Still got warranty since some of those things are consider wear and tear.
But those labour cost really cekik leher one. 

Remember wrongly, they paksa me change spark plug @ 17k, NGK...well, just 5k different.

I also know spark plug should be able to withstand at least 40k, but damn booklet said every 20k, WTF...

Fuel filter i ask few outside mechanics adi, they said can tahan 100k one wo... they seems less interested to change for me...but i still feel ok la, no power loss nor bad FC...
