Other than any defect you want to claim, you will only need do 3 items: engine oil, oil filter and oil drain plug gasket.

If they ask you if you wanna put in X1-R or Magnetrap, just say no.

now my traveling itinerary is completely reversed...

90% city 10% highway.

The 10% highway would be the short trip along Loke Yew Road in front of Viva Mall. laugh.gif

264.6 for 40 lites = rm76 for 264.6km, is quite expensive @_@, i think normal usage shud be around rm50 for 250km for iswara..

Added on May 11, 2012, 1:53 amguys, wanna ask for this saga flx, it use full synthetic oil or synthetic blend ? how much for the engine oil and oil filter for this flx?
*
Semi-syn or full-syn both is fine, as long as the viscousity is 10w-30 or higher.

Typically if you buy your engine oil from SC, for example Petronas Syntium 800 semi syn, it is RM 103. The oil filter is around 12 bucks IIRC.

3rd day with the Saga FLX. odometer still 25km. Haha.
Tonight will be first long distance journey balik kampung.

I understand the engine still "dara", so I would not put much hope on the FC yet. But I have to say, PROTON did well with the FLX. If not mistaken, the suspension is also different from the pre-facelift SAGA right?

and 1 more thing....PROTON punya A/Cond memang sejuk wehhhhh!
*
FLX suspension is stiffer than FL and BLM. And yeah, the one good thing about Saga is the cold aircon thumbup.gif

The suspension is stiffer, and less body roll when cornering.
What Proton claimed is more 'neutral' in handling and comfort.
*
Hahaha yea, from outside ppl see the car no body roll.

Inside the car the driver and passenger rolling like bowling balls sweat.gif sweat.gif

Got some sort of 'new' thing for read...of cos believe it or not own judgement la...

Actually last time SC did that during my car is 15k only, he unplug the intake hose and let me see how dirty the intake manifold was. Then he spray and start the car, my car 'smoking' until the same day night time. biggrin.gif
*
I tried threebond when I bought my old Waja which had 120k km on the clock.

I can tell you it works (definitely not placebo), if your engine / throttlebody is really dirty in the first place. Else you won't feel any difference.

What i think is throttle body definitely is dirty after 50k of traveling... hmm.gif

Last time SC guy told me for stock car, the ori 'bullet' got multiple layer of filter before exhaust gas can pass through, this filter actually make the exhaust gas 'smoke back' to throttle body and make it more dirty than previous car. Been told the filter is for emission control. So if possible, throw away the ori part and replace with straight flow 'bullet'....
*
You mean the catcon?

He means the catcon exert so much backpressure that the exhaust go back into the engine then out the throttlebody, wah lan eh true anot?? icon_question.gif

Dun know what it call, catcon i think tongue.gif The big boxy thing right after the extractor...

What he told is Gen2 Campro don have this thing, only Saga IAFM started to have this catcon, i saw inside is layers of honeycomb filter, he told me got 6-8layers inside (forgot adi), not only the exhaust go back to engine and out to the throttle body, it also will cause engine to run hotter, new car maybe is OK, but it will make the engine seal more prone to fail (leak) after few years.

I'm not sure true or not la...but logical thinking, more restriction more back pressure, of course exhaust gas more hard to escape, so where will it go? Circulate inside the engine...

That time i choose to believe and end up changed to Gen2 'bullet' doh.gif ...the performance gain not even can compare when my car is new. No regret until now.

They quietly launched it, the whole thing was later overshadowed by the hype around the launch of Preve.
