QUOTE(ooikl @ May 3 2012, 11:49 AM) Interesting. If you have a PC with wireless connection to the phone, you can consider apps that allow you to read your SMS from PC via a web browser. I think that would be much better. Added on May 3, 2012, 11:55 am QUOTE(ho-ll @ May 3 2012, 11:50 AM) I wonder you guys experience issue where sometimes there is some sound from the phone when you go to home screen, or before you off the screen. Trying hard to explain here, hope someone can understand You mean like static noise when you off/reboot the phone? This post has been edited by Harddisk: May 3 2012, 11:55 AM |

QUOTE(0204 @ May 3 2012, 11:57 AM) have any one here installed the crt on mod ? i love the crt off animation and doing some search on the crt on mod.. found some hack around just wanna know if any of you tried that CRT ON mod was available on AOKP on SGS. It slow down a bit when waking up the phone. Nothing harmful, just sometimes it causes lag. If you can live with it, why not?A feature copied from SE phone, IINM. |

QUOTE(ooikl @ May 3 2012, 02:37 PM) if the ad like gnote at every corner and pillar, the price could be diff d Google's core income is still advertisement. So selling phone is like a part-time job. lol.i think google just dun want to pay much on the marketing.... google might not rely on the device to making the earning.... they introduce gnex mainly to introduce the new version of android ..... thats my own thought, dun whack me if i am wrong... |

QUOTE(Kevin_Low @ May 3 2012, 02:40 PM) It is. Any phone bearing the Nexus name would be a developer phone. Reason being that you are developing your apps on latest possible version of Android and in plain vanilla, not specific brand of phone which might cause incompatibilities when run from another brand of phone. The above statement is true as long as no other phone manufacturer uses the name Nexus without Google's consent, such as HTC Nexus CreamPie, BlackBerry Nexus 11 and etc. This post has been edited by Harddisk: May 3 2012, 02:46 PM |

QUOTE(ho-ll @ May 3 2012, 03:17 PM) Ya, that is one of them. Another sound is like "daaroong daaroong" something like that. Sorry if it is hard to understand Not sure about "daaroong daaroong" part, but the static noise happens on mine at 4.0.2. After flashed to 4.0.4, the static noise no more.Is yours still on 4.0.2? |

QUOTE(ooikl @ May 4 2012, 11:32 AM) WCDMA preferred is fixed on AOKP ROM. While AOSP CM9 has it on 2G/3G setting and can't be changed from INFO screen. So just give up. lol.Added on May 4, 2012, 1:14 pm QUOTE(Koki @ May 4 2012, 12:11 PM) The Galaxy S III has the exact same design as the Nexus at the front... Connection drop or data drop?Btw anyone having data drop issues on XXKK6? Had it once, flashed to UGLA1 after that. So far still having best impression on DOCOMO's radio. Seems like Samsung did it again. Make use of Beam + Wifi Direct to transfer data.
Hopefully this feature gets ported to our phones too. Added on May 4, 2012, 1:49 pm QUOTE(Koki @ May 4 2012, 01:20 PM) Can't seem to find UGLA1 lol Sorry, it was UGLA4. Can't remember much. Data drop, and I'm sure it's the baseband since it didn't happen on AOKP M4 at the exact location of there I am QUOTE(ooikl @ May 4 2012, 01:26 PM) It's "preferred", not stuck at 3G only. So will still drops to 2G in area without 3G, but higher chance of getting into 3G even if 3G signal is unusually weak. This post has been edited by Harddisk: May 4 2012, 01:49 PM |
