Nothing special from it, I just want a GOOD DEFAULT PRESET EQUALIZER BUILD-IN.
I just set my Google Play Music at it's DEFAULT(Flat Equalizer).
And everything just works nicely.

You haven't used the G1, do you? I still own and use the keyboardless brother of the G1... and, well, the almost total lack of RAM makes it a really horrible experience. Using any in some way modern version of Android (read 2.0 or higher) meant it couldn't even hold the OS in the RAM, unless it was slimmed down. It'd be constantly killing and starting services because they couldn't stay in RAM at the same time. Running programs... yeah good luck. Multitasking is a very big no-no. Was it an important phone? Yes. And the hardware is well made. But what the hell were they thinking in terms of RAM? (some of the newer entry level devices feature similar CPUs, but with a lot more RAM. They are actually usable and not that sluggish).
*
First of all, HTC Dream runs on Android 1.0 where first Android was introduced. That time, where multitasking is very limited. Not to mention, during that era where RAM on a smartphone not as beefy like now we have 1 GB till 2GB (I talk about you - LG) have introduce. Even Windows Mobile 5 phones only have 128/256 of RAM. This phone isn't use for multitasking or what so ever, it is target for those people use to access web email servers, supporting POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP. Some basic document editing. Unless you intend to purchasing it and explore the core of Android how Rooting is done, introducing the entry levels of API 3 in Android SDK.

The MSM7201A is an ARM-based, dual-core CPU/GPU from Qualcomm and contains many built-in features, including 3G and a GPU capable of up to 4 million triangles/sec. It has hardware acceleration for Java, but this does not accelerate execution of Android applications, as they are targeted to the Dalvik VM, not the Java VM. You don't expect running Angry Birds on that time right? It wasn't exist. Gaming applications only have the hype when Android 2.1 (Nexus One) has appeared with powerful snapdragon scorpion CPU and Adreno 200 GPU which officially as developers phone. Even thou G1 has two variants where a T-Mo version and Developers Version.

Once again, at that time Android 1.0 haven't introduce hardware acceleration like we have today. The Ice-Cream Sandwich. About the android version of this phone, out of the box it has upgraded to Android 1.6 but thanks to CyannogenMod the latest official version of which is at version 6.1.0. (CyanogenMod is at version 7 as of 9-24-2011, but is only available via an unofficial port.) It is almost a full port of Android 2.2.1 to the Dream/G1 where things getting better at that time at least it still have capability use as hotspot. Recently, some developer also manage to port an AOSP version of Android 4.0.1. But I know it is sluggish, at least it still capability to run swipe a home-screen to app-drawer, tap settings and seeing the Android Version showed in YouTube.

Ha, you're right. Mine shipped with 1.5. IIRC it has 192 MB, out of which a lot is being used for whatever, so in the end you have around 96 MB. I think even back then that wasn't exactly a lot, and for a flagship device, one for developers, where you know the OS is going to grow very soon (hell, 1.0 even lacked an on screen keyboard)... it shouldn't have required a crystal ball for HTC to know the phone would be obsolete very fast with that amount of RAM.

Btw., nope, Angry Bird doesn't really run on it. 2 minutes to start, and maybe 1 fps. Or less. (Sometimes it would run butter smooth... for a few seconds. I guess a memory problem, again).

The Sapphire/Magic (pretty much the same phone as the G1) also came in a version with much more RAM, and all phones of this type received 2.2 IIRC. Weren't it for the RAM...
*
Blame HTC for that, it being stingy for giving RAM and ROM at that time, if only HTC Nexus One has more ROM, it would taste ICS today smile.gif

Actually, the memory management on Android does not really, work out sometimes. This is why a lot of us facing awful lags. (This is the reason where RAM management scripts baked from Developers have help us "Patch" to make it better.)

I know it's sad but some devices hardware have push till it's limits...

Guys, i got another prob.

I ve already back up all apk+ data using TB and Mybackup pro. The problem is that when i copied all data from the built in memory of gnex to the pc, i could find any data saved inside the folders of the TB and myback up (inside the PC) but i can see those datas in my gnex using astro file manager.

No wonder yesterday after i rooted my phone i couldnt restore the apps using my backup because no data was saved inside the myback up folder

Until this problem solved i have to postponed flashing the aokp sad.gif

Reboot your phone, and try again. Next time use WiFi to transfer files via AirDroid or WiFi File Explorer.

Blame MTP for that~

Software issue, is DoCoMO frimware yakjuux. Flash to yakju and you can tether as usual biggrin.gif
Who cares of AP warranty, their after sales service is quite. Terrible!! shakehead.gif
You can still relock your bootloader and flash back yakjuux if you have serious hardware problem

guys my friends ask,
which battery is suitable for this Nexus (long lifetime)
*
What makes other valid choices beside stock battery?
3rd party batteries aren't claim their mAh is the real thing, get power pack instead.
Being frustrated towards not enough stokc battery, get the original extended battery with cover on eBay.
