hi dude, before i flash to yakju

what should i need to aware?

1st question, do we still need to unlock the device? our device is not lock right?

2nd question, is it a must to root the phone to update from yakjuxw to yakju?

not rooting no unlock device still under warranty?
1) Make sure your computer recognizes your device by typing: fastboot devices
2) Unlock your bootloader (if you have not already done so): fastboot oem unlock (do we need this step?)
3) You will see a prompt on your device. This will wipe your entire device (including the /sdcard folder). Accept.
4) Reboot by typing: fastboot reboot-bootloader
5) Optional -- Flash the bootloader: fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-maguro-primela03.img (or whatever the name of the bootloader image that you downloaded). (do we need this step?)
6) Reboot (not required if you did not do step 5): fastboot reboot-bootloader
7) Optional -- Flash the radio: fastboot flash radio radio-maguro-i9250xxla02.img (or whatever the name is of the radio image that you downloaded). (do we need this step?)
8) Reboot (not required if you did not do step 7): fastboot reboot-bootloader
9) Flash the system partition: fastboot flash system system.img
10) Flash the data partition: fastboot flash userdata userdata.img Note: this command will wipe your device, EVEN if your bootloader is already unlocked.
11) Flash the boot partition: fastboot flash boot boot.img
12) Optional -- Flash the recovery partition: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
13) Erase the cache partition: fastboot erase cache
15) Reboot: fastboot reboot
16) Done!

True, but also "NOT NEEDED".

SME Original Warranty doesn't need your devices to be UNLOCKED or LOCKED to get RMAed.

Hi guys... new gnex owner here. Before this was using s2 and just swapped it from a lyn member few days ago. Very happy traded for this gnex coz i find it really suits my needs. Never regrat on it.
So guys.. can u pls recommend me a good sp that can perfectly fits on this gnex screen ? Went few shop at my area here and none of them have sp for gnex. Asked few seller in garage sales also and they dun have or over the screen size and need to diy. Pls help me guys.. prefer clear screen + anti fingerprint if possible.
