I am a proud owner of 3 katanas,1 boken, 2 ninchakus and 10 different sets of shuriken given by my sensei. In terms of license and legallity, there is not a problem. Since even some katanas are displayed as decoratives. Easily obtained in Central Market KL. However they are not sharp at all. The law did not mention anything about owning sharp swords or anything since it has been in our culture to own parangs in every household.
I know a shop in Klang selling model guns in scale of 1\6 for figurines.
