Use reflector to reflect soft light to subject, then in camera light meter underexpose by 1/3 or 2/3, evaluative or matrix metering
If got polarized filter the result will be even better, i got some shot that i did yesterday where i shot against the sky, will upload it to my showcase thread once it is done
agreed with the CPL filter , oh 1 thing to mention here is , CPL not only use for morning n evening only , CPL is often use to bring out the background especially the sky or the sea.If got polarized filter the result will be even better, i got some shot that i did yesterday where i shot against the sky, will upload it to my showcase thread once it is done
Then bro , the object here is the Hot air balloon up high , i doubt u could use reflector on it...
then i believe that there is no way to have the bg and the object in a scenery well exposed without having to go into photoshop or post processing. At least up till now after i read through most of the magazine n books , i see none... so the best would probably be CPL filter , evaluative like Bro Amduser mention underexpose abit or more depends on the situation , make sure there is no highlight warning , then the rest is just post processing.
Thanks to all tai kor , i learn another thing here
