Author's Note

In this shoot, I just got my 600W Portable Strobe ! hoho ! please pardon me if I under perform in this series, I am still getting used to handling this beast

For some time already I have been admiring this fashion photographer her name is Emily Soto, I know she uses a 600W Alien Bee with a special beauty dish. Now that I have my own outdoor lighting system already I guess I am one more step closer to my goals =)

i think all of them got very distracting backgrounds. #2 even got a dude in the background. colors seem to be very dull too.

imho... dunno y but looks like point n shoot result with built in flash

1) the shadows too harsh?
2) yeah, got mamat in the background and overblown sky?
3) how come no DOF feel one?
4) sky overblown?
5) what is that black rectangle on the stairs?

#1 strong shadow

#2 the lower body of her has been cropped, better if you cut right after her finger

your subject is wearing white cloth, white cloth with white sky doesn't work well, try bring back the sky, your picture will look more pleasant

I like how the girls wear for this time... Makes me think wild

oh yah~ got some side lighting/flash, at least better than Point & shoot camera with direct flash.
