Just managed to finish 2 missions.

Loving how the game pretty much lets you fight your way through the game if you want to.

Not quite loving how unconsious people die if they are dropped from a not at all high point.

Is the stealth really good or it's just there? I know that there's a Chaos mode thing that affects your gameplay/ending if you go full out killing people without stealth.

buying retail doesn't mean it won't use steamwork

The stealth is on par with DE:HR although there are some wonky places at times.

Chaos score raises if you kill too many people IRREGARDLESS of stealth.

Meaning that if you kill the same amount of people with guns and grenades as compared to slitting their throats, you'll still get the same Chaos score.

Which is a god damn shame because half the fun of the game is to try out various ways to kill the guards.

I find that aiming for the "Killing No One"" achievement is boring since you are suddenly limited to only your Sleep Darts.

Ah I see. So basically they gave alot of cool gadgets for kills but you're somewhat punished for killing people? I guess you gotta choke people out more often and hide their bodies

just curious, can i buy from GMG and still run it on Steam or have it in my Steam Library?

Dishonored is a PC Steamworks title. Regardless where you purchase it from it require the Steam client and Steam account even for retail.

In fact if you look at the requirement part of getting the game, GMG will mention that it requires steam.
How it works is that they will email you the CD-key and you will redeem it via steam directly, after that it will use the steam downloader to download your game.
