QUOTE(soul_fly9900 @ Oct 10 2012, 09:26 AM) In fact if you look at the requirement part of getting the game, GMG will mention that it requires steam. OK thanks! How it works is that they will email you the CD-key and you will redeem it via steam directly, after that it will use the steam downloader to download your game. Can apply GMG coupon I hope. Cham already so many games to play. |

QUOTE(jagged @ Oct 11 2012, 08:20 AM) It's actually more like Bioshock than Thief. Anyways, my dislikes:1) Some of the levels I felt were too linear, despite being marketed as an open world game. 2) The controls feel a bit too restrictive, I want to be able to choose what I equip on my LMB/RMB. I don't like having my blade on my LMB all the time while I switch between ranged weapons/spells/items on my RMB. I want to be able to wield a spell in one hand and a crossbow on another. 3) Silent protagonist. Not my cup of tea. I would prefer if Korvo had a voice. A good example would be Thief 3, where the protagonist would always have something funny and witty to say 4) Chaos system. This is where the game fell short for me. For the uninitiated, if you kill people, you get chaos. And the more chaos you have, the more likely you will get the bad ending. This is kinda disappointing, for a game that gives you so much freedom in terms of methods to kill people, you are reduced to using sleep darts and stealth just to get the good ending. QUOTE(Deimos Tel`Arin @ Oct 11 2012, 12:50 PM) Ya, you get so many cool perks and an impressive arsenal just for killing people in the most creative way you can think of, then they hit you in the face and say you can't get the best ending if you kill people I'd rather if they did it like Bioshock 2, kill or spare only important NPCs. Then I can play however I want, but still get the ending I want. But the current system is just too much of a gamechanger that it gimps your playstyle. Then I can play however I want, but still get the ending I want. But the current system is just too much of a gamechanger that it gimps your playstyle. That way, you can still kill people while having a low Chaos score. Because seriously, they won't know what they didn't see. |

Dishonored desperately needs a HD texture pack...the graphics are really outdated.
I feel Bioshock 2 looked even better. |

Lol I'm kinda upset. In the early mission I had an optional objective to protect someone. So I sedated him with a Sleep dart. (He was snoring!)...
Yet when I finished the mission, they said he was dead. Wtf! lol.. |

I'm assuming the mission where you had to poison the High Overseer?Yet when I finished the mission, they said he was dead. Wtf! lol.. You need to carry the sedated man to a specified area in order to clear that objective. |

(He was snoring!)... if is mission of killing the high overseer and sparing a general then yea after you use sleeping dart or chock him. you need to bring to a safe location which is also on the way to your exit.Yet when I finished the mission, they said he was dead. Wtf! lol.. Added on October 14, 2012, 4:53 amfeels satisfying now after a hard earned stealth gameplay on the first run now second run go all out killing xD This post has been edited by SilverCrimz: Oct 14 2012, 04:53 AM |
