the way i seen this tread going against the pictar is they assume proton is a godly cars manufacturer..anything problematic issued come fully blaming on the drivers..
*
well i believe these 1st batch are really lemon cars la, bad welding (persona has better welding job), those instrumental buttons failure.
I guess they assemble in rush to meet the launch date. Inspira also like this, coz some test car dashboard pon pasang tak betul.. BUt when the cars reached the customers, the Quality has improved dramatically

the welding spot not so obvious! u can find it when see in detail, and instrument button @ dashboard also seem working fine for me even with hard push no ter-cabut pun?
*
Inconsistency.. on some units its very very obvious until u can see gaping hole as the metal mcm bended out..
more reason to claim that these first units was rushed.

The air cond knob already loose on some units.

QUOTE(cuteyman @ Apr 20 2012, 08:49 PM)
obvious or not is not the main question here but with the incorrect alignment of joint metal with crappy spot weld..is it possible to increase the safety of the car itself as claim by the proton? thats the question that we should take in to consider though..
*
yes on some cars the metals are not even alligned properly until ada lubang and could start to rust. will be an issue later on. Nowadays all cars use spot welding on their doors, Cheap cars aswell but the finishing is fine.

I guess everything was rush to meet the deadline for these preves.

it's the frame, oh boy! dont make me debate with you like fanboy. this thing already explain and debate repeat again & again
*
Yes its the frame. Its not alligned. Is it due to spot welding? No. Other cars can do it fine. Why not preve? cheaper car has better finishing.

lets compare to my car..

u see any gap or holes there? compare the finishing to this preve. Bad huh? Certain units are fine. Some are pretty ridiculous.
Thats why i say the inconsistency is due to a rush job. Hopefully the cars wont be like this when they reach the customers.

read back my post above, the unit that i test drive the welding are like you forte, fill with line welding+spot welding, dont have any gap and hole
*
Yes.. Read what i post again, INCONSISTENCY between units. Some are very very bad until starting to rust. These are the units yg org duk bising sgt bro. U cant blame them if they complaint about it. Its protons fault for this rush job.
Lets just hope that the units that reach the customers arent like these.

i praise hope this only happen to test drive unit and not for real unit, too many inspector QC already done their job, now back to proton to f/up the issue  smile.gif

no offence.
*
Thats why feedbacks and complaints are good. We need ppl to make noise about these quality issues so they know and will fix these things up. Take all these critics positively. No ones wants a bad unit regardless of brand and type.

if ppl wanna bash, let them, but some do bash mindlessly without facts lol.

Just like i ever said before this. I like proton to be in pressure so that they can improve. Like malay always say "sebab sayang lah kena marah " laugh.gif
*
same goes to any car company. We fortezen also bash kia what.. 1st batch got rattling issues and etc2..
The world world bash outdated gearbox.. some want paddleshifters mcm inspira.. say no paddleshift mana laku nanti inspira killed forte..

Then kia responded with the facelift model which rectified most of the stuff and added paddleshifters, reverse cam and more biggrin.gif

BTW.. that tweet was FALSE..!!! The REAL CAUSE OF THE PREVE ACCIDENT!

QUOTE
The real story already officially written by news hub gaiz
KUALA LUMPUR: The trending image on a local forum and social sites depicting a Proton Prevé's failed suspension and tyre damage are being heavily discussed among netizens this evening.

An official statement from Proton was given by Datuk Ahmad Jingga, chief director of Proton's marketing unit, regarding this issue. The image was depicted as one way for rivaling companies to bring down Proton's name.

"There is a story behind that image. Proton's suspension and our latest technology is working just fine. During the test drive, this particular unit has hit a foreign object that instantenously damage the tire and suspension unit due to the heavy duty element of that object."

A further forensic research regarding the photo were done immediately to clear up rumours about Proton's supposedly 'failed' suspension. The official reports have depicted that foreign object as 'too strong for any mass object moving in high speed to withhold, even a BMW could not survive the ordeal'.  Datuk Ahmad Jingga has been quoted to say that the object itself is the main cause of the turmoil, and not the failure of Proton's technology.

The following are the official photos released by the laboratory depicting the foreign object that was said to be the real culprit behind this chaos.

this is what generally happen when you market the product and promise sky and moon... ppl will start to focus on the slightest of mistake or issue.

if only proton just launch this car with as little hype as possible.. then less ppl will pay attention.. like how VW launch the polo sedan.. senyap2 one day before launch oni ppl know...

see where got ppl bash even tho the price is 100k for such shitty spec...
*
well at least dis time they dont claim it as BMW of the east lol...
