on highway it will just accelerate beautifully. The test drive route I took lead me to a relatively empty main road and I take the opportunity to nail the throttle halfway down. The rpm shoots to 3,500rpm and all the sudden I can see I'm nearing 100kmh after a block of shops (approx 120m). I cant feel the speed until I peeked at the speedometer and in the car there's also an uncle which become the passenger. My SA and I picked him up from the showroom just to impress him. laugh.gif

When I am nailing the throttle, the uncle say "fuh, sekejap saja sudah lajunya". sweat.gif

yup, recommended. The initial pick up from standstill from S is much better, but got to becareful with the throttle or else gonna buttsex the person in front. haha

err, ya. it somehow gives the feeling that the car is going very slow but actually the speedo is already climbing towards 100 sweat.gif

definitely not as "slow feeling" as the BMW 730Li but it has half of that feeling.

err, as for noises, I can still hear a bit of wind noise from the B pillars when going above 50kmh and also the tyre roar is a bit on the high side, IMO.

he is fine with me diving in and out of corners around penchala link (with ESC off, in the wet, almost midnight) but he did not expected the U-Turn thingy...

the only hard cornering i try is after I drop off my SA and the uncle back to the showroom and I am making another round round the shops and I simply throw the car into a right corner and nail the throttle full at the corner apex. No tyre screetch and the car is still quite planted, body roll is minimal. I guess I gonna test drive again and this time I'm gonna add more speed and find a bigger corner to accomodate the additional speed.

BTW, the test drive unit I drove doesn't have any rattles or weird noises coming out from the cabin assembly. The one facing such issues when test driving must be test driving a lemon unit.

yup. By pressing to 2,000rpm from standstill, the "lag" isn't that apparent. Just have to find the sweet spot of it.

just dont be on constant rpm for long time. Vary your rpm all the time, meaning sometimes lenjan sometimes drive like siput.

an engine should be conditioned to a stress test before it was fitted in the car in factory, so nothing to worry about.
