You keep going on and on about our failures like we're not aware of it. Give it a rest. We are aware it, and so does Kenny. You can downplay that progress if you want but that doesn't make it any less true.

I agree with you. It's all about balance man.

We've seen time and time again how quality players come to the Premier League, only to suffer. We've seen proven Premier League players move across clubs, to suffer. We've seen foreigners, take the league by storm. We've seen unknowns, take the league by storm.

While I'd take quality players any day, sometimes you need the balance and mixture of youth and abilities. There are many good teams which consist of players not in the same breathe as Messi, Ronaldo, Gerrard, Xavi or Alonso but they are unsung heroes of their teams.

Hopefully Kenny (if he is incharge) doesn't make the same mistakes in the transfew window this summer.

I guess it's okay to be critical of Kenny in terms of signing players, team selection, substitutes but I can't really be too critical in our performances in general this season.

Pepe Reina has been sub-standard at the back but we've still amazing the joint 3rd best defence in the league. While a save can be the difference between a win and a draw and a draw and a loss, we only tend to look at him more because we've been crap in front of goal.

Okay, Gerrard, Adam, Carroll, Henderson and Downing have not been scoring alot but even with 17 goals, Suarez is easily the most wasteful player.

Suffice to say, attention spans are shorter these days and demands are higher. If you win, no be complains, it's that simple. Newcastle fans were calling for Mike Ashley to leave but they looked pretty chuffed the last time I watched them play at St. James Park. Man Utd fans loved Rooney, they hated him when he wanted to leave and now they love him again. Same thing happened with Gerrard.

A year and a half ago, many Liverpool fans were happy to see the reappointment of Kenny and were relieved to have ended the season on a positive note after flirting with relegation. Half a season on and the knives were being sharpened. Same thing will happen to Martinez or whoever else takes the hotseat. Such are the demands of the job today. We need to look a little further down the road here, like the article I posted earlier from Tony Barrett suggests.

Have you not read a single opinion I posted about how the team are playing, creating more chances compared to seasons before, etc? I don't expect you to agree but given that we've been going on and on, I'd expect you to at least remember what we spoke about. Also, did you read the article I posted by Tony Barrett?
