Backup data apps.
Download and copy latest Stunner ROM on your SD Card.
Make sure you are on Rooted ROM. Reboot in recovery.
ONLY IF YOU ARE ON GINGERBREAD: Flash Abyss Kernel. Goto Advanced and Reboot Recovery. Tested and confirmed working on CF-Root Kernel.
Wipe Data (Recommended but not mandatory if you on Stunner ROM already)
Flash ROM.
Flash suitable Modem (Optional, recommended ICS LP5 modem)(not included in ROM)
Reboot and Read Caution.
Do not restore system apps or system data.

Try battery pull then boot into CWM and flash again. Make sure your new ICS Stunner is 205MB.

Day light quality is good, maybe we can do a test on night, see how is the difference as well. But overall its perfect.

Yes you are right SME set now only 12 month warranty. But some AP company give 18 month warranty on Galaxy Note which can consider as well. About 5 years warranty I don't think nowadays people can use a smartphone for such a long period as new model coming out too frequently.
