Errr....If you read again my cheong hei post, it actually points to what you just summarize....preference. Young chap usually, revy revy ride , older no so active chap, smoothy and sleepy ride....of course older rich b*stard with those sport cars...revy revy wan, car enthusiast is the key word for what you prefered.

I never mentioned anywhere CVT is the best gearbox, it never is and most probably never will but it does has it niche and provide certain other "feel" and efficiency that normal tranny does not have, preference. As a matter of fact, my post was to point to what you post earlier that what you mentioned driving should be (aka similar to sex part, just might contradict what some other ppl might feel towards driving, not everyone can go long foreplay...ouch my back hurts)....
