I can never get tired with sunset pics. They are the best things in landscape photography.
For #2, I can see a human subject as a dark sillhouete, but if the person could be positioned somewhere to the left part of the scene as a foreground shadow, the pic could have look stronger. This post has been edited by geekster129: Apr 15 2012, 03:44 PM |

Thank for the CnC give.
The WB is weird mean too red n yellow? I use auto WB for this shoot; may need more explain on how the setting should i set for the shoot? Thank. Yea, agree with you, if the girl can be more left and get full ppl shadow, the whole photo may look complete. Just the girl is just somebody walk and stand in front when i on the shoot. Hahaha. Dun know is funny or plus for me. Added on April 15, 2012, 4:24 pmWill this shoot look better WB? ![]() This post has been edited by lacer72: Apr 15 2012, 04:24 PM |

Too much yellow to me, and it looks like only one colour tone (yellow) only inside the picture.

sure i dun mind. as get comment here.
But is that the adjust lose the sunset feel? With the adjust pic you attach "Adjusted WB and strong contrast with LR 3". |

QUOTE(lacer72 @ Apr 15 2012, 06:32 PM) sure i dun mind. as get comment here. To me is more the personal preference, I found more colour in a pic will make it look more interesting But is that the adjust lose the sunset feel? With the adjust pic you attach "Adjusted WB and strong contrast with LR 3". Let's see what is other sifu's comment |

Thank for your comment so much.
i have feel the pic is too yellow and red tone, but when adjust, the sunset feel is lose for my view. As this shoot take without any filter, just direct setting and 18-200mm lens. 1st pic set: ISO100, focal Length 18mm, 1/250 shutter speed, aperture f11. 2nd pic set: ISO100, focal Length 18mm, 1/250 shutter speed, aperture f11. 3th pic set: ISO100, focal Length 18mm, 1/200 shutter speed, aperture f11. |

Colour is weird and not interesting enough. Model could've made a jump or something, though.

QUOTE(lacer72 @ Apr 15 2012, 06:59 PM) Thank for your comment so much. WB is a subjective matter, some prefer cooler WB in the pic, some prefer warmer.... there is not such right or wrong, just a personal feeling on the picture.i have feel the pic is too yellow and red tone, but when adjust, the sunset feel is lose for my view. As this shoot take without any filter, just direct setting and 18-200mm lens. 1st pic set: ISO100, focal Length 18mm, 1/250 shutter speed, aperture f11. 2nd pic set: ISO100, focal Length 18mm, 1/250 shutter speed, aperture f11. 3th pic set: ISO100, focal Length 18mm, 1/200 shutter speed, aperture f11. For me, your picture #1 under expose at the left side. If you could give up the left side, shot in longer focal length, that might give other impact. picture #2, just like geekster129 said, ur human subject was block by the tree, move the human to left side, or just dunwan to put human in your picture And, lastly, shooting at seaside, try step down aperture, shot in longer shutter speed (given you have tripod, or something to support your camera), and see the different. |
