Test shots from a77. Was playing around with the retro mode and toy camera mode. All OOC JPEGS. Model is totally inexperienced as well. Had to guide her for every step. C & C welcomed. notworthy.gif

Yeah, I think it works. I see you are well prepared for the shoot, can see that you got the ideas on what to shoot. Good smile.gif

You have already broken the first rule, be aware.

1) This subforum is for posting photographs and related discussion such as technique and execution (lighting, composition, posing, makeup etc.). Discussion about photographers or models is prohibited.
Neither one of us have experience in modeling since we born. Photographer need to guide her to achieve what you want indeed. Talk to her, distract her, ask her walk around, relaxing etc, don't keep on looking on camera with the exactly same smiley....

Ah well, I suppose doing this shoot in her own uni wasn't exactly going to make her comfortable and relaxed at all. i did bring a guidebook on posing for her to refer throughout the shoot though. will try to work on communicating more with the model on that. thanks smile.gif

hmmm although she has zero experience, err i think you still need to tell her, teach her? not a photographer nor a model here tongue.gif

yeah i did guide her..otherwise the poses will all be the same.. smile.gif it's the face expression that can't be taught in one hour..

still better than molley biggrin.gif

and to TS: most of the pics the model face is under expose, normally people want to see the face of the model in portrait.

and try to learn some PP skill to improve the picta  brows.gif

U can use internal flash or natural light smile.gif

Try harder next time smile.gif

well internal will be harsh unless i have a diffuser.. and natural light works better with a reflector.. thanks for your suggestion biggrin.gif
