Is it really worth to get a laptop with full hd screen? It's sharper i know, higher PPI. Just a better screen. But on a 14 inches laptop, 1366x768 should be good enough. And on 15.6, 1600x900 would be good enough. Maybe Full HD on 15.6 would look great.

Oh have another question. Why MSI laptops not so popular in malaysia hor?

1. Preferred Brand : Any brand
2. Budget : depends, maybe 2 or 3k or maybe higher but if got cheap
3. Usage : music,video,gaming a bit like dota,sims3,fifa12
4. Preferred Laptop/Screen Size : 14,15 or bigger

+ Battery longer lasting . at least 6-8 hours per charge, comfortable keyboad design , less heat, less lag, light ,i dun like heavy ..i also want built in bluetooth and can change speaker volume using buttons(not touch buttons -unless its responsive then ok . ++ if possible want 3d..i mean can watch 3d[must use specs or not??]

im currently using toshiba portege(small one, thin) the price is around 2k in feb 2011 ..i buy this bcause its light,
its like netbook size but laptop performance[intel pentium],at 1st it was ok but now its kinda laggy doing photoshop, open google chrome browser a lot of tabs, firefox looks unstable.and its not for gaming, cannot play sims3,fifa heavy graphics.

btw i also hve other laptops like acer(04,07,08 models) all got problems with battery, and 07,08 got screen prob, so fast heat . but i heard acer has improve since then ??

With 3k budget to buy a gaming laptop, why not opt for Asus N45SL(14 inches) or HP Dv6(15.6 inches)tongue.gif

Which brand is better? ASUS or Lenovo?
I heard from a seller from lowyat, he said that he never get a bad feed back from Lenovo user, and he told me Asus now starting to have prob.
Am going to get an ASUS but heard this, ughh ==
*
Definitely ASUS. My friend had bad experience with lenovo tho.

A little question. Any shop in KV(digital mall or lowyat) is the official distributor for DELL laptops? Any recommendation? Like asus and acer also have. Only sell asus and acer laptops.

The 7670M is around the GT540M level, so its still slightly better than the GT525M when stock  nod.gif
In terms of CPU, the Toshiba L755 is better than the HP G4 you've mentioned
Hi sifu PF T.J. Laptops with anti-spill keyboard don't come cheaply right?

Does Toshiba's warranty include protection towards accidental damage like spill or crack?

BTW, why everyone favour Lenovo now? My friend had 2 lenovo laptops and both had problems. Ended up having a toshiba laptop. I might as well choose acer over lenovo.

Another of my friend bought asus during pc fair in kuching(The one with GT 610M) I think its Asus A43Sd. Had speaker problem now sent back to the shop he bought from. My friend had problem playing NFS the run, they said he needs a software to link Nvidia and Intel in order to play the game without problem.

TQ.

What about GT 650M vs GT 640M?

Any source?
So far there's no benchmarks for the AMD 7730 right?  hmm.gif

Yeah. There's no benchmark for AMD 7730. Notebookcheck also no tongue.gif

Btw, 1366x768 on a 15.6 inches laptop. Really that ugly? no right? If gaming le? If native resolution is 1366x768. During gaming cannot go up to 1600x900 right?

Hi PF T.J.

For N45SL(JC edition), better add rm 100 to get Dell inspiron 14R right? Get i7 and better gpu, higher ram and more HDD capacity as well.

Hey [PF] T.J.

I think the dell 14 InspironR with i5 IB and GT 640M at rm2,199. could be true.

Cause if u see the new Inspiron 15R(the one priced rm 1999) comes with i5 IB and Radeon 7670M. More models here:http://www.dell.com/my/p/inspiron-15r-5520/fs

So add rm 200, u get 14 inches screen and GT 640M.
