QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Jun 7 2012, 10:30 PM) Can consider these: does dell need cooler after all???Dell Inspiron 15R (Special Edition), i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + 32GB SSD + 1TB HDD(5400rpm)@RM3399, 8GB,backlit keyboard optional MSI GE620DX-675, i7-2670QM + Nvidia GT635M + (1920x1080)@RM3299, 8GB, 750GB, 2 years warranty The Dell is better in terms of overall performance because of the relatively newer and more powerful CPU and GPU If you're going for the Dell, do extend the warranty to 3 years These two are way better than the Qosmio F750 because cooler already be my nightmare(keep chging new cooler)for many years~ |

QUOTE(PhungTM @ Jun 12 2012, 01:44 PM) Mainly for gaming but not heavy on graphics? when will it out?? and what specs for the new lenovo y580??If you're mainly using it for gaming, I think i5 will be more than enough for you. You can go for these: Dell Inspiron 15R (Special Edition), i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + 32GB SSD + 1TB HDD(5400rpm)@RM3199, 8GB,backlit keyboard optional Asus N55Sl-S2064v, i5-2450M + Nvidia GT635M + (1600x900)@RM2899[Bang & Olufsen], 4GB, 750GB(5400rpm) Inspiron 15R SE is running on IB while the Asus N55SL is running on SB. Or you can wait for the new Lenovo Y580. It has good specs as well. Added on June 12, 2012, 2:06 pm Screen size doesn't affect the price alot. If you think the screen size is too small, you can always plug into another external monitor. I will assume your usage is high on graphics. Since your budget is undecided (and capped at RM4k?) You can go for these 15": Asus G55VW-S1095V, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M (2GB) + (1920x1080)@3999, 4GB, 1TB(5400rpm), W7HP Dell Inspiron 15R (Special Edition), i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + 32GB SSD + 1TB HDD(5400rpm)@RM3199, 8GB,backlit keyboard optional Or you can wait for the new Lenovo Y580. It has great specs too. |
