Currently im seeking for a laptop for my further studies in design related field.

Preferred Brand : Asus/Sager/HP or any recommended brand specialize for designing works/rendering/graphic.
2. Budget : RM5k-RM8k
3. Usage : Mostly for mid to heavy rendering (3d max), designing works(photoshop/illustrator/google sketch up) , watching movie, social media (ie msn),
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 14"-16" doesn't really matter. (preferably lightweight not to heavy...)

Your help is much appreciated.. Thank you in advance..

Sager (Do visit www.illegear.com for customization)
NP9150, i7-2670QM + Nvidia GTX670M + (1920x1080)@RM5199, 8GB, 500GB(7200rpm), FreeDOS [CPU Options: i7-2630M - i7-2960XM][GPU options: GTX675M], color backlit keyboard

For lightness:
15.6"
Asus N56VM-S3022V, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GT630M@RM3599, 4GB, 750GB, W7HP

Thanks T.J.! , Im a female btw ^^"
May I ask, how is SONY VAIO VPCSA25GG,(i7 +4box + 8GB ram + 1gb graphic card) to reflect on the above recommendation ? This is what my friend currently using,To what I understand this model was sometime ago, but it can pretty much render nicely. However is the above suggestion more powerful than this vaio's model? Sorry, if Im asking silly Q.. Im not a computer wiz ><

Oh, sorry, usually all the "females" are imposters in the forumĀ  tongue.gif
The Vaio you are referring to is the older brother of this one:
13"
Sony Vaio VPCSA35GG, i7-2640M + AMD HD6630M + (1600x900)@RM4499[1.68kg], 6GB, 750GB, W7P, color: brown, extended battery

Its kind of small for graphic stuffs imho
You were looking for 14-16" notebooks right? All the ones suggested before are better in terms of performance compared to the Vaio

You might want to consider the Dell XPS 15z (dual core i7 variant) then, the spec is more or less similar to the Vaio (weaker GPU though), but comes with FullHD resolution and 8-cell battery- its more or less balanced in terms of performance, potability and user-friendliness~ Oh ya, and the warranty is top-notch as well

Hi T.J.,

Previously u recommanded me on the

15.6"
Asus G55VW-S1095V, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M (2GB) + (1920x1080)@3999, 4GB, 1TB(5400rpm), W7HP

How is it compare to ASUS G75VW-AS71 , beside screen size ?

What do u mean by that code in red color ?

Look forward toward your reply~ smile.gif
