A lot of laptops can fetch an insanely high price yo

Anyway, since you don't mind having a larger and heavier laptop, then I guess its better you go for desktop replacements for the power rather than just the slimness and looks

15.6"
Asus G55VW-S1095V, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M (2GB) + (1920x1080)@3999, 4GB, 1TB(5400rpm), W7HP
MSI GE60, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + Bluray@RM4199, 8GB, 1TB(7200rpm), W7HP, 2 years warranty, gaming mouse & backpack, Free SteelSeries QCK Mass mousepad
If you prefer something lighter and less powerful, then you might want to wait for the upcoming Dell XPS 15 (IB versions, around July), or the current:
Asus
N56ZM-S4079V, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GT650M + (1920 x 1080) + BluRay@RM3599[Bang&Olufsen], 4GB, 1TB
Dell
Inspiron 15R (Special Edition), i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + 32GB SSD + 1TB HDD(5400rpm)@RM3199, 8GB,backlit keyboard optional *Nvidia GPU might work better for your case
XPS 15z, i7-2640M + Nvidia GT525M (2GB) + (1920x1080)@RM4099[2.51kg], backlit keyboard
Lenovo Ideapad Y580, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M (2GB) + Bluray@RM3399[JBL], 8GB, 1TB HDD(7200rpm), W7HP *resolution is HD only

Reason why I suggest the Sony laptop is due to the weight, since you're looking for something light to carry, while still packs quite a nice spec.
But, if you don't mind to have something just a bit heavy than the Sony, but pack a powerful spec, then you should go with the MSI GE60 like what PF T.J. mentioned.

Weighing at 2.4kg. Not so bad for a 15.6" laptop with a Quad-Core processor and a powerful GPU.
yeah.. msi laptop quite ok for me..

btw, y gaming laptop not using ssd?? i think de weight will be lesser if equipped wit ssd.. summore ssd more powerful..
