Yeah, don't think you can get a laptop with GT555m or equivalent for that price, unless its 2nd hand

Go for the laptop that you need and like, not the laptop with the highest specs..
The Y480 does offer very good specs for the price, but since you're not exactly into gaming, then there's no real need to get such a high end GPU

There are many versions of the A43Sd?
Mind sharing your budget, preferred screen size and usage?

1. The GT640M should be able to handle Diablo 3 smoothly, no problems there
2. If the built in battery dies, then you're going to have to replace with a new one... batteries are rather susceptible to heat, which is going to be a problem here for the Acer M5

Batteries are usually around RM200-300? Its hard to say, you might wanna check with Acer for better feedbacks

I haven't come across reviews for these units yet
But both are more or less similarly speced, so it all boils down to what screen size you prefer
Personally I would prefer the 14" Envy 4
Do take note that there are two versions of the Envy 4

Wow, if RM2599 with W7HP then it'll be a steal

Assuming you're referring to the one with Nvidia GT610M, the GPU is a lot weaker, you might want to go for the A43Sm instead, the price is more or less the same, but with a better GPU
