Yeah, pretty much this one within your budget nod.gif
Its considered as "upcoming" anyway since I don't think there are any stock at the moment since its very new laugh.gif
For your usage, i5 is good enough~

QUOTE(-WEI- @ Jun 18 2012, 06:13 PM)
Is there any reasonable laptop which can deal with latest high graphic games other than Asus N56VZ which is around the price range of RM3k?
Because i saw the review that i will get very hot when running games for a couple of hours~
*
Almost every laptop will get hot after gaming for a couple of hours and relying on the cooling system of the laptop alone sad.gif
This one is more powerful than the Asus, but more expensive as well:
Lenovo Ideapad Y580, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M (2GB) + Bluray@RM3399[JBL], 8GB, 1TB HDD(7200rpm), W7HP

er hi ther me again wer can i get Asus N56Vz-S3088V, i5-3210M at 2699 and usualy wat prefrence do we need for  i7 ?
*
Don't think there are any ready stocks yet, but you should be able to pre-order from official retailers nod.gif
Usually for those who do alot of multitasking involving rendering, calculations, simulations, gaming ,browsing, listening to songs and several other programs running that you need an i7 processor. You don't need one for normal usage

which 1 to choose between this 2?dv6 currently have promotion rm300 rebate+8gb should i buy it or asus is better?
im looking for laptop that can play latest game as long as its playable and nice sound speaker
*
If you're looking at gaming performance, then definitely the Asus nod.gif
The Dv6 is more suitable if you're into designing/ rendering and stuffs... the GPU is not as powerful as that of the Asus..

r u sure that asus is better in gaming?even its 2 core i5 vs 4core i7?

Gaming relies more on GPU rather than CPU. nod.gif

in term of overall which 1 better?so u suggest me buy asus ?
*
Depends on your definition of "overall" hmm.gif
HP is better in terms of warranty support if you opt for their on-site support..
Asus is better in a sense that it comes with 2 years international warranty..
Both laptops are rich in audio quality, where the Asus has the upper edge because of the external subwoofer
Design-wise its very subjective, but I'd say most ppl would prefer the N series's design laugh.gif

QUOTE(davidyeow94 @ Jun 18 2012, 08:54 PM)
should I get dell inspiron SE @RM2799 instead of with FHD @RM3199?
is that really big diff screen resolution on 15.6'' laptop?
Or I should get asus n56 i5 @RM2699 because of better design?
*
Dell laptops serve best with the warranty, so if you're planning on getting one, do extend to 3 years warranty.
Otherwise, go for other brands instead nod.gif
As for your question, it all depends on what you want to use your laptop for... If gaming performance is your top priority, then the Asus would be the better pick because of the more powerful GT650m dedicated GPU.

If you're only gaming abit and prefers a laptop that can be used for some photo/video editing etc., then the Dell 15R SE with FHD would be the better pick~

4. 14 or 15 will nice biggrin.gif
Thanks!!! biggrin.gif

Unfortunately portability and gaming doesn't come together sad.gif
For pure performance at the expense of portability:
15"
Asus G55VW-S1095V, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M (2GB) + (1920x1080)@3999, 4GB, 1TB(5400rpm), W7HP
MSI GE60, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + Bluray@RM4199, 8GB, 1TB(7200rpm), W7HP, 2 years warranty, gaming mouse & backpack, Free SteelSeries QCK Mass mousepad

For relatively lower performance but slightly more portable:
15"
Asus N56ZM-S4079V, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GT650M + (1920 x 1080) + BluRay@RM3599[Bang&Olufsen], 4GB, 1TB

Dell Inspiron 15R (Special Edition), i7-3612QM + AMD HD7730M + (1920x1080; anti-glare) + 32GB SSD + 1TB HDD(5400rpm)@RM3199, 8GB,backlit keyboard optional

Lenovo Ideapad Y580, i7-3610QM + Nvidia GTX660M (2GB) + Bluray@RM3399[JBL], 8GB, 1TB HDD(7200rpm), W7HP

before 1st year warranty extend to 3 years right? dell AMD poorer than nvidia gt650? main question, is that screen resolution 1367x768 and 1920x1080 is a big different when you playing FHD videos and video game?
*
Yup, extend to 3 years on-site warranty nod.gif
Yes, GT650M is more powerful than the AMD HD7730M..
Yes again, the difference between FHD and HD resolution is significant and clear hmm.gif

need advice from sifus..
when do u guys think these new laptops (G55vw, N56vz, N56zm, Y580) will be available widely in msia?
i want to buy, but don't want to take risk of pre-order or online order..

how about next month (13 Jul) pikom pcfair in klcc?
these laptops will surely be available there right?
hmm.gif

i dont it is risky if u preorder from asus physical retail store...if wan it fast beter preorder...u nvr know how much stock asus hav...like the G55VM released quite some time d but till now stlll lack of stock...
*
Yes, preordering isn't risky at all if you're buying from large stores. After all, you'll only be paying a relatively small amount of deposit hmm.gif
My advice is you go for preorder, because as what Itachi has mentioned, there is a chance that you might not even be able to get the laptop you want after a few months because of the high demand and the low supply from Asus

hi! i need a recommendation;

1. Preferred Brand: ASUS
2. Budget: maximum RM5k
3. Usage: connect with medical device and will be using lots of medical sofware,
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : more than 11' inch
*
Hmm, your preferred screen size is kind of broad hmm.gif
Does these "medical softwares" require alot of processing power? If not, then I guess an ultrabook would suffice..
Portability is important right? Or will the laptop to sessile?
