I am an aspiring graphic artist. I would most probably go into motion graphics. I normally use photoshop and after effects. Currently i'm using the cs4 version, but i am thinking of upgrading to cs6, but my current computer (HP Pavillion dv3, 32bit, 2gb ram etc) won't allow that. As such, i want to upgrade my computer as well. Could any of you help me with the specs? If you could recommend a particular model it would be better as i'm not very inclined on building it myself. Also, it needs to be available in Malaysia with the price range of up to RM5500 it doesn't need to be perfect or the best, just the best that RM5500 can buy.

This is what my friend currently using,To what I understand this model was sometime ago, but it can pretty much render nicely. However is the above suggestion more powerful than this vaio's model? All in all if you're worried about the "power" of the GPU then don't go for LE rather go for "M" ie. GT640M Kepler ->  GT640LE (kepler/fermi)

review of g55vw-s1095v..

negative points( actually not so negative)
-powerbrick is heavy, and so is the laptop with battery, still not to heavy that cannot carry around..approx 4 kg only.
-the g55vw has many bloatwares( useless softwares).. can be uninstalled easily

POSITIVE points:
-performance is superb 10/10.no lags in any softwares including games.played 8 games fo far in the g55 and no any problems..the g55 slaughters games like a true beast
-cooling excellent 10/10 after playing for almost 2 hours in high settings, the g55 is damn quiet and temperature is low..superb cooling
-keyboard very nice with backlight.solid and strong
-display nice, very bright and clear as it is fullhd
-audio 7/10 the subwoofer is nice..sound quality excellent.. but got a small bug in audio driver, sametimes rarely, sound tends to come out of the subwoofer eventhough the earphone is attached..this is a world wide problem(link below) and asus will soon release an update
