QUOTE(alien9 @ Nov 28 2012, 06:36 PM) Do you know that you also can get creatine through all the meat you consume in your daily diet? Just imagine, how much meat does you consumed for your entire life? By your logic, that meat can be harmful to you. Correct? But in meat, there's only like, 4-5 grams in every kilo. Who eats a kilo of meat a day, every day? Most people don't even eat a kilo of red meat in a week. And eating too much red meat can cause certain health problems too.

QUOTE(myvi5949 @ Nov 28 2012, 08:56 PM) we shouldnt compare creatine in supplemental form with those in meat.. creatine from natural source is easier to absorb/ process by the body.. the creatine mono powder, we must take with lots of water..its harder on the kidney. some people say it can cause kidney stone. for me better safe then sorry. but thats just my opinion. The kidney stone formation isn't likely with a healthy person. Actually creatine can INDIRECTLY cause kidney stones because of water retention by the creatine, so you will get dehydrated. The low hydration level is what more likely to cause kidney stones, not the creatine itself directly. That's why it is recommended to take in lots of water if one is on a creatine supplementation.

QUOTE(david_lynn @ Jan 6 2013, 01:18 AM) can consuming supplement/whey protein really helps in increasing the pecs size ? The only way you can direct the protein to your pecs is by training your pecs. Not only do you not understand bodybuilding, you don't understand the human body and its construction. Learn how muscles work and how they are built first.

Dude, I have been replied that way to a question of mine, but not a body building subject. I asked an engineer something that to me SEEMS complicated to me at the time. What I got was "you clearly do not understand the matter at hand", or something along those lines. I just suck it up and go along and find it out for myself, and noticed that the engineer was right, what I asked was kinda dumb because a few extra days doing research on my own would've avoided me from asking that "dumb" question. The subject became clear to me without his help. It was my own fault for not doing my homework. FYI this ain't BS, happened 8 years ago. I e-mailed that question to that SOB and got that shitty reply, to which I say again that it was kinda dumb of me. Moral of the story: Ask the right questions and try to answer it yourself first. It may be simpler than you thought it would be. For your question, a simple search in Google, like "building pecs" can save you and the rest of us here the trouble.

QUOTE(alien9 @ Jan 6 2013, 09:23 PM) Well, some people expect they get all what they want. Just like students who comes to the class without doing any revisions first then starting to ask dumb questions in class but when being scolded upon, they will reply 'that is why I come to class' type of answer. And to top it if, that kind of people feels that they are right to bear that kind of attitude. Well, in this harsh world, that would be a mistake. Kinda of spoiling the mood to study for tomorrow's exam but I eager for my leg day so life must go on Anyway tunertoobe, we are here to share but some people just wanted an easy way. Oh well I think we've all shared enough to him.

QUOTE(david_lynn @ Jan 7 2013, 12:27 AM) you dont get the point do you ? "I just suck it up and go along and find it out for myself, and noticed that the engineer was right, what I asked was kinda dumb because a few extra days doing research on my own would've avoided me from asking that "dumb" question. The subject became clear to me without his help. It was my own fault for not doing my homework. FYI this ain't BS, happened 8 years ago. I e-mailed that question to that SOB and got that shitty reply, to which I say again that it was kinda dumb of me. " - if you know, you wouldnt have ask that question right ? when you were asking that question, DO YOu KNOW IT WAS DUMB ? and more importantly, even if it was dumb, was there a need to be scarcastic ?Then you didn't get mine. The main point was trying to find the answer for yourself first. I made a fool of myself in the end because I didn't spend more time doing my own research. Yes I didn't know it was dumb...but then I didn't know it was that easy to figure out for myself. Yes, that response did wake me up, and it should for everyone else. It can make us be better THINKERS. I'm glad I got that shitty reply. It made me see that things can just APPEAR to be more difficult than it seems. Our replies weren't even hostile. It's what an annoyed teacher would reply to a student who wouldn't study, and that student is you. Try and type your question in google, and links to supplements wouldn't come up, it's links to pecs workout. Even Google would correct you, a lifeless search engine. Yeah people ask stuff that's beyond their understanding...but please, learning how muscles are built is like learning how 2+2 becomes 4. You don't even understand the VERY BASIC of muscle building - training a muscle and then feeding it makes it grow. 2 hours on Google, 2 hours, that's all it takes to read up on muscle building.

QUOTE(david_lynn @ Jan 7 2013, 06:58 PM) since everyone here are expressing how "experience" they are, im expecting you to be able to have the intelligence to see things more better ? it doesnt tell the whole story, but one can always read the postings ? And if one were to see my whole post then they'd see how you have, again, made a fool of yourself.

QUOTE(yeeck @ Jan 8 2013, 03:05 AM) Do bodybuilders stop creatine intake to get the dry look before competition? Creatine retains water, which can make that puffy look and wipe out a bit of muscle definition, or so they say. I have heard people recommending stopping creatine intake a few weeks before competition, yes.
