yo bro sekalian...wanna ask something...  for normal gym goer and muscle builder maybe not hardcore type aka one week go 3 times muscle building... is it worth spending extra bucks for whey isolate or whey blend would be enough? Whey blend also provide similar benefits since its still whey right just that the absorption rate is slower. This info is from the sales guy... isolate like ferarri and blend is like motorbike...  both reach destination. one fast and one slow.

i just want to know if it makes any differences... as long i lift my weight and ensure my macros are fulfilled even protein blend works?....thought of saving few bucks if it works the same.

Isolate is better for lactose intolerant people, like me. Can you drink milk? If you can drink milk and not have stomachache the whole day, whey blend is good enough. If you have severe lactose intolerance then isolate would be better for you. At the end of the day, like you said, as long as you get your macros in. Whey is awesome because you get a lot of protein for very little calories.

Why not test it out with fresh full cream milk? 500ml and see if you shit yourself crazy and be best friend with the toilet bowl? If yes, then you have intolerance  biggrin.gif

You just described my relationship with full cream milk.

Surprisingly though, I can tolerate ON.

take beef proteins lo, or invest your supplements money in real foods?

Whey is real food also lah. I like isolates but it's a bit too expensive. Beef protein is a bit expensive also. I really don't mind eating more meat but the calories will surely be much much higher than whey if you factor in the oil, spice, and the fat on the meat. Very lean chicken breast baked with no spices or oil taste like cardboard man, I ain't doing that.

Just got my first bag of MyProtein Impact Whey Chocolate Smooth flavor this week. Current thoughts on it is that it mixes really well, though it is a tad bit too sweet for me, and the sweetness tastes a bit fake, kinda like aspartame sweet. It's not a deal breaker for me, I really don't mind it at all.

20g of protein per serving for 100kcal as compared to ON 24g of protein per serving for 120kcal. I have slight lactose intolerance but so far my stomach tolerates it really well, probably better than ON as I don't get the usual bloat after taking a scoop.

I'm not sure if shilling for somebody is okay around these parts, but if it's not then mods please let me know so I can take it down. I got it from this guy. I highly recommend him as a seller. Smooth business transaction without any bullshit.
