i think your case same like mine... the meter actually never kong..... try to remove the fuel pump socket and spray wd40 then plug in again..... so far mine ok.... after that should be work well

The fuel cartridge design has a defect. the socket between the wiring below and the pins sometimes become loose. That's why occasionally you cannot start your car thinking that your fuel pump is dead. It's a well know issue. I also kena already. The pin also shares with your fuel gauge so try plug and unplug to test.

Reliability depends how often you pump your fuel. if you keep your fuel full or above half tank, it should be good. Normally fuel pumps cool itself by pumping fuel, if you always stay extremely low fuel, there is a risk you overheat and melt/burn the pump when there's insufficient fuel to pump flow through. keeping your fuel above 1/2 tank means you submerge the fuel pump. The pump can dissipate the heat out to the fluid, which is another good thing to prolong the life span.

I recommend stock, or mod your fuel pump to accommodate aftermarket fuel pumps. Walbros are good. their internals are solid moving gears so it's much reliable. The rest are just disc with fins to pump fuel. you ven look through the internals when you look at the pump hole.
I suspect, they just use cheap O-rings which cannot sustain high temperature. This is one way of cutting down the manufacturing cost. The aluminium adapters are also brittle. easily crack I heard.

hi all , sorry for interrupting . i got some problem with my waja . My car's RPM is about 500 when D mode . so whenever im at traffic light , the car jerking and sometimes engine terus shut down . my air-cond also only blow the air but not cold . when i start to move , the aircond starting to cold back . so any idea what happened actually ? and suggestion for this ? sorry i'm new with car , and there a lot i need to study .

Lolz mine last time morning sickness if i buka aircon when starting, start 3 times also cannot start unless I step the throttle abit lol.

i'm still facing the prob too. without switch on aircon, idle nicely at 800, when switch on aircon, drop to 700. if in "D" drop to 600 and can feel the harsh vibration.

there's also jerking when press on accelerator. ignition coil? 

I think you need to send for Re-Tuning to factory reset setting at the SC. Normal Car service center also got one.
Price usually about RM50-70. It will indicate if there any Problem inside the Engine, then it reset the Air -fuel ratio all back to normal. Normally the FC is also improve.

My suggestion, done the service, OIL and Oil filter service, Spark Plug replaced, then re-tuning.
