QUOTE(Vervain @ May 21 2012, 07:40 AM) not a problem. for the joints. Probably if you're paranoid, just put more gasket gums. Problem is, the O-ring on the adapter can crack. That's what my friend told me. lol haha, i need the durable 1! Currently i am using taiwan stock, the fuel meter kong after a year+. Which u recommend and what price? =D thanks.which one do you want? got 2nd hand stock, 2nd hand jasma, and 2nd hand walbro. hahaha Lets see if we can use it for the windscreen sprinkler |

QUOTE(mxsteven @ May 21 2012, 10:59 AM) i think your case same like mine... the meter actually never kong..... try to remove the fuel pump socket and spray wd40 then plug in again..... so far mine ok.... after that should be work well yea i know wat is the problem too. think to mod the socket level or change to ori one.QUOTE(Vervain @ May 21 2012, 05:30 PM) The fuel cartridge design has a defect. the socket between the wiring below and the pins sometimes become loose. That's why occasionally you cannot start your car thinking that your fuel pump is dead. It's a well know issue. I also kena already. The pin also shares with your fuel gauge so try plug and unplug to test. how much is the Walbro?Reliability depends how often you pump your fuel. if you keep your fuel full or above half tank, it should be good. Normally fuel pumps cool itself by pumping fuel, if you always stay extremely low fuel, there is a risk you overheat and melt/burn the pump when there's insufficient fuel to pump flow through. keeping your fuel above 1/2 tank means you submerge the fuel pump. The pump can dissipate the heat out to the fluid, which is another good thing to prolong the life span. I recommend stock, or mod your fuel pump to accommodate aftermarket fuel pumps. Walbros are good. their internals are solid moving gears so it's much reliable. The rest are just disc with fins to pump fuel. you ven look through the internals when you look at the pump hole. I suspect, they just use cheap O-rings which cannot sustain high temperature. This is one way of cutting down the manufacturing cost. The aluminium adapters are also brittle. easily crack I heard. |

QUOTE(Andy0625 @ Jun 6 2012, 10:26 PM) any picture to share bro? even going on uneven road, sometimes can hear it rubs against the mudguard. 215/45/r17 is too wide for Waja. U shud not use 215 in the first place. i using 205/55/r16 also rub something when full turn. I dun think its the mudguard, i think is the body. |

QUOTE(MOMOchacha @ Jun 27 2012, 06:37 PM) Just find Hing Leong Tyre Services on google map. Use GPS to go. Its easy.QUOTE(ariffmokhtar @ Jun 27 2012, 06:49 PM) hi all , sorry for interrupting . i got some problem with my waja . My car's RPM is about 500 when D mode . so whenever im at traffic light , the car jerking and sometimes engine terus shut down . my air-cond also only blow the air but not cold . when i start to move , the aircond starting to cold back . so any idea what happened actually ? and suggestion for this ? sorry i'm new with car , and there a lot i need to study . Probably compressor start to kong. It is dragging ur engine, that y ur rpm going up and down so drastic. I encounter this before my compressor died & drag until my engine die. I need to keep accelerating when otw to workshop.QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Jun 27 2012, 11:25 PM) Lolz mine last time morning sickness if i buka aircon when starting, start 3 times also cannot start unless I step the throttle abit lol. I also have this problem before i reflash. You can contact the FREE INSULTATION person for reflash. The problem will be gone ever after. QUOTE(Andy0625 @ Jun 28 2012, 05:08 AM) i'm still facing the prob too. without switch on aircon, idle nicely at 800, when switch on aircon, drop to 700. if in "D" drop to 600 and can feel the harsh vibration. Your case is look like u need to 3bond edi. I got this problem and fix it after 3bond. Thx to Elton. there's also jerking when press on accelerator. ignition coil? QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Jun 28 2012, 01:16 PM) I think you need to send for Re-Tuning to factory reset setting at the SC. Normal Car service center also got one. SC will show their beef knife lol.. Call Elton, he can do the tuning. Since u find him, u can just do the reflash at same time. Price usually about RM50-70. It will indicate if there any Problem inside the Engine, then it reset the Air -fuel ratio all back to normal. Normally the FC is also improve. My suggestion, done the service, OIL and Oil filter service, Spark Plug replaced, then re-tuning. This post has been edited by swk_sam: Jun 28 2012, 11:01 PM |
