normal price people will put as market for R3 stuff suddenly rose back up.. must be all the new stuff they are coming out with.. still over priced stuffs..
i oso sold mine for 250.. just that the guy bought from me ask for 220..

if by any chance the rim is 8jj front, 9jj rear with offset ET+35 all around it will scrape.. but if no then both of you don't hav to worry that much.. i've used 7.5jj with offset of ET+28.. i thought this will scrape on the rear but nope.. been using the R3 springs on all the rims i've change uptill the latest.. just lowered the car.. if scrape just cut the front part of the mudguard abit.. if rear just go roll the fender.. if so scared oso just use smaller rims..

1st set 17x7jj offset ET+45.. no
2nd set 17x7jj offset ET+45.. no
3rd set 17x7jj offset ET+40.. no
4th set 17x7.5jj offset ET+28.. no
5th set 17x8jj front, 17x9jj rear offset ET+35.. yes mudguard being eaten half by the tyre, fender is grinding the tyre little by little at high speed on bumpy road..

anyone know any good short stroke abs that can achieve this kind of height??

why bigger rim? i don't wanna answer that.. coz for what ever reason 1 will always find it hard to accept.. unless ur an enthusiast..

the thing about 16" is mainly coz of the prize.. way back when i wanna change rim also was opting for 16" coz of scare fc gonna go higher, scare scrape, scare no pick u la, scare thief la, scare price la scare that scare this.. but after i know price almost the same y not go bigger.. coz 17" always better interm of looks.. plus if ur to scare of all those stated.. don't start modding/changing.. coz its addictive.. once u start never stop.. even this very second i'm still considering to upgrade.. can't even sleep sometimes.. hahahahaha..

if japan rims or rims with known brand i can giv suggestions or tell the difference.. but if u ask me what is lightweight what is not on some tyre shop i can't tell u anything.. the only advise i can tell is if u gone to any tyre/rim shop then u see rim to your liking.. go lift it by ur hand or bring weighing machine to tell its lite or not..

me.. i used r3 spring on sapura sport abs.. but dunno y after 2 weeks used the abs kong.. maybe i got lemon 1..

btw.. might be selling my current rims.. this is not light weight rim as each weights almost 9kg.. so this rim will sure kill ur acceleration.. FC consume more.. mudguard front both side cut half.. will scrape at the rear fender..

your sapura sport abs is yellow colour or black?

mine was yellow oso.. its a sport short stroke i think.. i bought then installed it 8 month after purchase.. after 2 weeks using i noticed got knocking sound if go uneven road & over road hump.. then go check the mech open the front abs and try pushing it down.. then its not coming up.. also the right side very slow the action going up.. there was no sign of leaking or wat ever.. so i change to KYB front set abs.. since 8 month edi my warranty over edi so cannot claim..

hahaha.. can't remember as i was so pissed of at the sapura i hav to fork out more money.. that time student so every money spent on fail item is rage able.. also the period of using them is 2 week only..
