thing about 16" is the tyre price is almost the same as 17".. at most the difference is around rm10-50.. so do make up ur mind in either looks or performance and handling.. if 16"/17" 7jj offset can go up to ET+28.. coz previously i'm using 7.5jj with offset(ET) +28 with lowered springs on stock abs.. no rubbing on the rear fender even with 4 people in the rear seat.. if offset is +45 or +40.. consider normal offset.. so should be not a problem.. on handling.. i think if u do change rims.. sure after awhile u want to lowered ur car.. as the higher the car become since the diameter of the wheels is bigger.. the higher lost in center gravity of the car in which will result in poor handling of the car.. if ur into handling.. and i would say.. for waja.. 16" don't give that much of a different in looks from 15"..

not necessarily light weight japan rim.. there other options as now there a few good brand that is light oso.. look=17", comfort=lowered R3 springs+stock abs, FC=abit compromise.. but if reflash can be better, Handling=without lowering ur car if with 17" sure lousy 1.. mine auto been using 17" ever since inherit it from my parents.. FC normally around 500km full tank.. btw try contact thundergod_cid he got 1 light weight rim to let go~

no need change rims.. coz that is just the shop want u to pay more than u should.. its normal business to them.. u buy rim they got extra.. just repair will do.. tek ming should be around rm40-rm90 depends on the bengkok..
