wanna ask whether is it worth to buy Maisto's 1:18 scale Mercedes SLR? It cost RM129 locally so is it worth it? As i noe it is not as detailed as AA but due to budget so is that ok?

haha actually i think its up to u ... if u really like tat car .... for me i will save it up first and buy AA one... if u think RM 129 one is good enough for u ... i think no prob kua jus go ahead.....

well... actually im not in to model kits... only interested in die cast... n this thread is all about die cast cars... but btw if ur in kch u can visit a place called satok.. there are die cast models sold there including model kits...

there are some model kits sold at ipoh parade..toyscity shop.go last nite to search 4 lego,but the shop dont sell lego..

My model is the 05' Monte Carlo AA model.Retail value is about MYR$329.I bring in AA cars when the shipment comes in.Not all the time though.

It's not a fully sealed model doors and bonnet all open nicely.

I've develop a love for this model as i personally the like the real car but for now can only settle for the diecast form.I collect mostly JGTC and WRC models.

AA cars are well known for it's quality and paint work.So i suppose paying more won't really hurt if u like collecting models

Yes that's right i dont see much action here.Surely they are more ppl wanting or got the interest in diecast right...

iinm, maisto hold the citreon wrc cars license

anyone can go there check out the quality ?? RM 180 for 1/18 scale one.... quite expensive for non AA .......

kinda sad to hear tat... but there are citreon cars being produced by autoart right? if u surf autoart website u see a list of citreon wrc cars there...

hmm.. im finding a skyline gtr r34 v-spec (black/sliver) ... but still got no news in kch here... west malaysia there got any r34 sold in the shops? especially in KL... coz plan to go there to sweep a skyline from there... preferably 1/18 autoart one...

ha skyline i also always say wanna buy........everytime i go there always dun hav the color i wan........ so until now din buy any of it.... i think i will choose gun silver skyline la

Jasonist u intrested to get anything online ?? i think i will start off a service helping ppl to buy model online.... and charge a small fee.... if anything happen to the shipment... i will tanggung..... so mayb charge 10 or 15% for the item but surely will be cheaper than kch alot...
