Just wondering, is there any shop in pg or kl that sells auto arts car models besides that shop in midvalley and also how much does one of those 1:18 auto arts car models cost.

Hi everyone, I can see you all have a very beautiful collection out there thumbup.gif . I think I wanna start collecting myself. Does anyone know if there are any specialized shops where they sell diecast, besides toy shop or toy section in Jusco or any other shopping mall? I feel embarrass sometimes going to the toy shop or toy section with kids eyes on me.. blush.gif ..haha...Or are there any reliable and safe online shopping site (especially malaysia site) to order diecast?

Can't wait to start my collection...Thanks a million... notworthy.gif

hi there wink.gif so what scale you intend to collect? 1:18? 1:24? 1:43? 1:64? I myself shop at regular supermarket for my cars. Why? sometimes they will have sale, so you can save money or buy extra cars. Hobby shops rarely have sale and the pricing is sometimes higher for the same item compared to supermarkets.

Btw, dont be ashamed lah, you should see me when i'm on my hotwheels shopping spree... tongue.gif

I think toywiz at Amcorp Mall has a good range of diecast cars.

The problem is, i dont have time to assemble model kit. Do you know the price of the tamiya kit? btw, the DTM cars by Maisto comes in 3 choices : The black amg, a yellow one and one with vodafone liveries

the price is around RM190 and i believe some shops can giv discount on that.
actually tamiya have 2 models for a similar DTM, one is w/o the paintings just like normal, the other one which is rarely seen is the one with all the official paintings and it looks great and buyers dun need to worry bout the outside paintings, so its really depends on the buyer whether he wanna fix it himself or just get those prefix..
i think shld b this one.. http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=24263
