 Digi Network Coverage in Klang Valley, Poor

Especially when enter some shops(go inside more), full bar of strength signal will go down to one/two bar left. In most shopping centres as well. I come from east malaysia, but the digi coverage and signal strength there are so much better than in Klang Valley.

i also encounter poor digi coverage (2g). whenever enter office, the signal start to drop to 1 or 2 bar. if outside, signal is full bar.

Even sometimes i enter to coffeeshop just inside a bit, then drop to 1/2 bars ady biggrin.gif

Im suffering this thing everyday...inside my bedroom line is very poor...if i put my phone on the floor, totally no coverage...

3g speeds are poor, I suspect there network is just too congested in the KV. It's the natural cycle of telcos here, initially good and fast, draw in the subscribers but network resources not sufficiently expanded to accommodate the user base, then congestion sets in, finally frustrated users leave the service for another Telco.

thats because its using GSM 1800 in door digi always poor and you are paying for is what you get

I don't know why digi coverage(2G) is very poor in klang valley. Even i enter my friend's place(shophouse first floor) line dropped left 1 bar. Any shops also, if u go inside line sure drop a lot.

I am extremely disappointed with Digi's coverage in Klang Valley. its absolutely rubbish and rip-off. I stay in Taman Ayer Panas and the network coverage is 1 bar to 'no network'. i made a report to Digi and they say they would fix it....they did, from Edge to 3G but not the signal coverage.

At work, my office is located at Menara TM. At 25th Floor and above, the network coverage is volatile and fluctuates every 10seconds or so. ppl can't really contact me at work due to the poor signal. My colleagues using Celcom has no issues at all. So does Maxis on my spare phone. At gym, @ wangsa walk, no 3G coverage.

nuff said, gonna switch telco when my contract ends in October. I wouldn't recommend Digi if you wanna depend your lifestyle on it.

Actually I have no idea why. Actually Digi is supposed to be good in Klang valley, no?

Even in Kuching, Sarawak. The coverage/strength of signal bar is much better than in KV.

I have a nagging suspicion that this 'upgrading exercise' is just an excuse for Digi's lame performance and to buy time. Anytime a customer calls up to complain they can always attribute it to their ongoing 'upgrade'. Digi is now the worst telco in Malaysia in terms of coverage and speeds.

A word of warning to those considering signing up with Digi - DON'T cos you will regret it!

Same experience, I don't know there the problems are?

In my bed room, never achieve 2 lines before on my Digi Postpaid Smart data plan. Luckily house got streamyx and wifi, else die la if dependent on digi's network

Same here, got tired of the lack of coverage, slow data network, and dim customer service reps.

I regularly had little to no reception inside large buildings.

Used to be pretty reliable, so I don't understand how coverage can go down.

So, yesterday, I ported all my lines out of DiGi.

Calls are starting to fail. Tried calling landlines just now and after waiting few seconds my h/p shows 'call ended'. I used my home phone and immediately got through. DIGI is beyond redemption. They should just close shop.

Will be porting back to MAXIS when my contract ends in June or July. Still ave to suffer another one/two months.

Imagine paying your telco monthly subs and you can't make calls. WTH!

since past 2 month really make me headache and do really affect my job...haaihhhh...

It's because they are upgrading so you get absolutely crap performance. One other thing - they will be upgrading for the next few years so you can expect real lousy speeds for the next few years.

Good luck to you if you stick with Digi.

N/b: I just switched back to Maxis today after my 1 year contract with Digi ended. Thank god!

Disregard their network performance, if I sign up for 24 months contract with them, after 24 months, is it really i don't have to pay anything and still enjoy 1GB data usage?

Meaning after 24 months, I don't need to pay anything to use the 1GB data plan?

I'm having terrible network issue since May, I had made complaints by calling 016-2211800. But the only solution is WAIT as Digi having upgrade. I understand upgrade is important to improve service, but it takes too long and Digi can't provide me an exact date when it going to resolve. First time I call, Digi said mid of May will be Ok, but until end of May I call, Digi say again mid of June. Today 14/06/2012 I call again, 2nd level Customer Service said end of July, and nothing I can do. At the same time, Digi still charge me for it, and I didnt pay, Digi send SMS to me EVERYDAY.

My call is terrible unclear, but people can hear me clearly..SMS delivery delay or double send/receive..
A simple call/SMS also so bad..not to mentioned about the internet..

Went to KL for the 1st time last Feb. As I expected, DiGi coverage was not very impressive. The coverage was only 1 or 2 bars everywhere I go.

Digi 1800 is the reason. Last time tmtouch and timecel also famous for poor coverage.

The other two big players are using 900mhz.

From already poor line it DETERIORATING worst!!!! And I mean it!!

Slow Internet, miss call msg, drop call, line breaking, line switching btw 3G and Edge are just my routines being Digi user

Digi sucks bigtime today! I'm so pissed at their service. Already my calls get cut off whenever I'm in the midst of phone calls and the signal fluctuates but since yesterday it's terrible! My friend's been calling me since 9pm last night and I only received all the missed calls notification past midnight. And today I couldn't call anyone! The lines get cut off immediately or I'd hear my own voice!

The problem is that I get people complaining that I didn't pick up their calls and that's because I didn't receive the calls at all, nothing came into my phone, not even a missed call notification or something...sometimes I'm lucky when I call those people and they tell me. What about those who didn't? I might lose clients like that...and to think that I gotta wait till next year...gosh...

I just register my iphone package since Feb 2012. But at my area, Sibu, Sarawak, it only with EDGE connection. But at my house artea, it is switching between GPRS and EDGE. OMG, cant believe i still need to use GPRS to online. BEsides, when i online, those SMS and calls are unable to come in. Then I complain to SKMM. One of the DG staff call me and inform me that, they confirmed there are no plan to launch 3G here. For the missing of SMS and calls during hanging on internet, it is normal due to limitation of EDGE. THerefore, they allow me to terminate the line immediately, if i want to switch to other telco. The RM400 penalty, they will waived for me. So, now still surveying for suitable services from other telco.

Sibu is the 3rd largest town in sarawak and its competitors all launch 3G for few years. I am not understand what type of business strategy is DG have.
