QUOTE(arseblog.com)
Robin van Persie has scooped the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year award to add to his PFA Player of the Year award. He is the first Arsenal player to win both accolades since Thierry Henry (2003/04)  and also joins legendary compatriot Dennis Bergkamp (1997/98) in doing the double.

another trophy for him.. rclxms.gif

QUOTE
Arsenal captain Robin van Persie has been voted 2012 Footballer of the Year by the Football Writers' Association.

Robin van Persie has enjoyed an injury-free and free-scoring season
Van Persie, 28, topped the poll of journalists with a landslide victory ahead of Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney in second place and his Old Trafford team-mate Paul Scholes third, with Fulham's Clint Dempsey fourth.

Van Persie's 34 goals in all competitions has helped propel the Gunners into the top four of the Premier League, leaving them on the brink of Champions League qualification for next season.

Van Persie - last week named the Professional Footballers' Association Player of the Year - will receive the prestigious FWA accolade, which has been running since 1948, at a gala dinner at the Lancaster London Hotel on May 3.

FWA chairman Steve Bates, chief football writer at The People, said: "Robin was the overwhelming choice of our members this season and deservedly so after a magnificent campaign for Arsenal.

"The quality of his goals, attacking movement and consistency in a turbulent season for The Gunners has been eye-catching.

"The considerable size of his majority in the votes cast by our members reflected the general view that he has been the season's most outstanding individual performer.''
Reading it bring tears .................congrats VAN THE MAN! notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Congratulations to our Capt Vantastic ! Now sign the freaking contract !

And regarding Koscielny, who'd thought he would be this good? Seriously this season he improves a lot. His tackle is damn freaking good.

I think he is 30 years old by next year. So he will be getting yearly contract following Arsenal's policy.

Hope it's not too late to congrats our Captain achievement notworthy.gif

Please sign new contract and stay with Arsenal and match Henry's record for 2 consecutive PFA Player of the Year flex.gif

IINM, Arsenal players have only won this individual award, not those individual awards from FIFA or EUFA.

like in the wigan match where he insulted the wigan captain like a boss
and also the tim krul incident
but i think it's getting better, hopefully
