What Vcore are you using? Don't say auto at 5Ghz. Too low Vcore = BSOD. Too much excessive Vcore = chip fried If going above 4.2Ghz, better use manual or offset Vcore. Not all processors can exceed 4.8Ghz stable at any Vcore setting.
Do it slow, read up tutorials on overclocking Sandy Bridge/ Your board.

Make sure you do sufficient stress test too. Prime95 - blend tests for example. From my testing, sometimes BSOD comes within minutes, sometimes within 1 hr. sometimes calculation error, but no bsod
The tutorial i read up uses approx 4.5GHz @ 1.24v ~ 1.27v 4.7Ghz - 4.9GHz @ 1.35v
So, 5Ghz should need 1.4v+

Not sure about that. But ASUS AI Tuner settings are temporary. The only way was to change settings in BIOS. Software = test different voltages quick without rebooting. BIOS = changed settings here stays Might be same for ASRock.
