Service available, installation in progress

What the hell is that?? I register streamyx via online, last time the status was pending service availability then last week i check again it say service available, installation in progress... so i wait and wait but they still haven't call me so i call 1300 and ask my status and they say the phone number already provided with streamyx then i say i still haven't get streamyx so they ask me to call for activation......so i press 4 for activation after checking that fellow say my application already been cancel and ask me to reapply at TM point....what the hell was that????

It depends , I could be several reasons . For example , the online (MIPS) system sometimes does give you inaccurate information . So The techie has to check , some areas have known issues for poor copper lines , etc. It depends. You might want to re-apply again via an agent. Some agents do really speed up your application. On the other hand you could choose to take with the modem rental package and after a year or two , downgrade it or upgrade it (e.g assuming you're taking the RM 77 Holiday Package or the RM 77 512Kbps Package)
