I am using a 32gb n only have 5 gb free. Fill it with videos n music , ebooks. Nandroid backup of 2 gb n 2 ics roms already takes up close to 8gb space

Always wipe data n caches
Don't take shortcut
Spent 15 mins extra restore data n apps rather than hours trying to debug fc errors

What is so worrying
Always do efs backup before flashing any new rom. Just take 1-2 sec using k tool
If one has done one previously than no need

Stunner v4.5 address some fc issues at settings
I have yet to experience such fc yet
So those who haven't try 4.4 might as well wait for 4.5 later today

I can play all my avi, mkv and mp4 videos very well ( including subtitles )

Infact i did not even noticed is now saved in 3gp format until you highlighted it.
Stock video player definitely can play 3gp format

You must flash abyss 3.9 kernel. Do not reset phone. Select boot recovery at advanced. Then select restore

You MUST flash abyss kernel to restore back your GB rom. Probably your backup is corrupted. After you did a backup did you try unzip it in phone to confirm is a good backup

There is nothing wrong buying AP set except warranty will be handle by your seller. Samsung Service Center will charge you servicing fees and spare parts replacements if you go directly to them
Infact I would say past 3 years 80 % of my smartphones/tablets are AP , mainly because I can get it faster and secondly I root it within days - so warranty is never an issue with me
I would suggest if you buy AP - buy it from seller with a shop not from those kiosk sellers who are actually another few parties down the line. If you have problem, they will pass back to A who could pass it to B and probably C than to actual distributor.
And frankly I have purchased both Ap and SMe sets of SGS II, Note, Galaxy tab and personally I find build quality of AP sets is generally better. I once bought a UK set of HTC Touch Pro - its build quality was different and very much better than SIS set - it is very obvious

I did dirty install on top 4.4. Only wipe cache just to test. Perfect i nstall. All data intact n no FC at all.
Will test further to see any issues

Wipe Cache partition and dalvik caches just to clean up all traces of previous installations
