QUOTE(DaMyst @ Apr 10 2012, 09:22 AM) Benny, it is written that we should wipe data before we install ICS stunner... Does that include cache and dalvik too? QUOTE(SugarCoatedCandy @ Apr 10 2012, 10:11 AM) Morning guys.. its always good to do a clean wipe when installing something new.. Zero fc for me. Already 3 hours on this romEFS partition just save a copy in your SD card.. Or can use Ktool. Im still contemplating to move on to 4.4 of Stunner, it seems that many are experiencing FC bugs Is perfect Always wipe data n caches Don't take shortcut Spent 15 mins extra restore data n apps rather than hours trying to debug fc errors This post has been edited by benny888: Apr 10 2012, 10:25 AM |

QUOTE(rebooto @ Apr 10 2012, 10:05 AM) i read a few page back about charging the sgn battery and such.....if heat was the culprit behind killing our battery faster then i recommend everyone stop using our charger as much as possible and use usb cable plug to notebook to charge...^^ yeah its slow but the battery won't be as hot as from the adapter... This is nonsense. No offenseAdded on April 10, 2012, 10:33 am QUOTE(SugarCoatedCandy @ Apr 10 2012, 10:27 AM) Im doing my backups now >.< titanium and nandroid.. still got 4minutes downloading 4.4 I flash on top 4.3I also heard there is a 4.5 soon.. QUOTE(MrKrahoz @ Apr 10 2012, 10:03 AM) Even if we upgrade to 4.4? What is so worrying I don't really like this statement -> "It is highly recommended to back up your EFS Partition. You can use this backup in case you lose baseband or get corrupt IMEI." o.o! What does it mean? Always do efs backup before flashing any new rom. Just take 1-2 sec using k tool If one has done one previously than no need |

Stunner v4.5 address some fc issues at settings
I have yet to experience such fc yet So those who haven't try 4.4 might as well wait for 4.5 later today |

QUOTE(AMDunFreak @ Apr 10 2012, 07:21 PM) I am using AP and also SME set. Why suddenly all these queries about Ap sets There is nothing wrong buying AP set except warranty will be handle by your seller. Samsung Service Center will charge you servicing fees and spare parts replacements if you go directly to them Infact I would say past 3 years 80 % of my smartphones/tablets are AP , mainly because I can get it faster and secondly I root it within days - so warranty is never an issue with me I would suggest if you buy AP - buy it from seller with a shop not from those kiosk sellers who are actually another few parties down the line. If you have problem, they will pass back to A who could pass it to B and probably C than to actual distributor. And frankly I have purchased both Ap and SMe sets of SGS II, Note, Galaxy tab and personally I find build quality of AP sets is generally better. I once bought a UK set of HTC Touch Pro - its build quality was different and very much better than SIS set - it is very obvious |

Please go and read post # 1 - it is CRYSTAL clear how to flash, Throw away all those ideas of yours and you will be fine. There is nothing confusing except you make it confusing only.
