Hi guys,

Need advise here.. Im considering changing my bike soon.. Im currently using Yamaha 135LC ES and want to change to Yamaha FZ150i.. Any advise here? I heard its a good bike.. Can anyone give the pros and cons.. Thanks..

ah Ic. I dont think you can include styling in this argument though. Styling is subjective.

In terms of FC, definitely cannot beat. Huge tank + FI, 525km/ 12 L

Only FC ah? ok in terms of maintainance? comparing with other 150cc bikes within its price range? parts? a friend of a friend told me he only used it for 3 months before it kaput.. im quite good at taking care of my bikes.. before this I have a modenas scooter for 6 years and my LC is well maintained (honestly).. so i just wanna know if this basis is true.. meaninng after a few months the bike will kaput? huhu..

I'm a proud user of Fz150i that have been clock near to 20k of mileage for my fz in the time of 1 year. The only thing u need to know is that, every moving component must be well maintained. As for my fz, I have always pump Ron97 on it and still no kaput things occur. It depends on how well u managed to maintain this bike. Even my sprocket chain only tighten twice in 1 year range.

Yes fz indeed r good in fc, but don't expect a naked bike to be fast as fairing bike. Fz can be styling if u know what accs to be fitted on it.

Thanks bro.. I actually decided on getting 1.. I dont care about speed actually.. I dont care kena tapau or not.. It seems like a good bike coz not many people are condemning it..

old model like naked bike compare to new model with fairing, izzit a lot diff in term of speed?

in term of performance parts izzit easy to find like 135LC or 125ZR ? just wanna know..

Naked bike design for comfort since the seating position diff than fairing bike. But when wanna compare wind resisting, fairing bike win on it since the air flow pass by the fairing. As therefore naked bike, the wind resitant was high coz it was a naked.

The air flow of a design affect the speed of the bike. As for performance parts for fz, only camshaft, rod bearing, gear clutch r diff than 135LC.

The parts easy to get since it was design from the 135LC to go till 150cc with fuel injection.

What are the accesorries available? meaning mono shock covers? huhu..

not really for lc135 5 speed now lol..
same engine only gear ratio different and block size and cam

plus lc135 with 62mm also hardly can reach that speed ba since only 1 or 5 hp increased
and compression ratio for fz is lower
