Hi sifu's !

Please help me out here, I'm having some problems with my audio setup.

My setup ;

Kenwood MP-446 >> 4 original door speakers + tweeters (no crossovers)

Amplifier supports the subwoofer only.

Amplifier problem.

Most of the time, the light on the amplifier turns red (not functioning). Should be in green. What is the problem here ? I've checked all the connections but problem is still there.

HU Recommendation

Most of you people know that a grand livina comes with a dual din player. My setup currently holds a single din player and i'm interested to upgrade to either Dual din (JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer) ONLY.

Tweeter Recommendation

My current setup has tweeters but no crossovers and it's just a cap ayam brand. I'm planning to change to a good sounding tweeters complete with crossovers. Please recommend me these too.

My total budget for the whole setup including the HU and tweeters would be RM2k. Maximum RM2.4k.

Recommend me sifu's. I'm not a professional in car audio so i need advice. Please don't flame me for not reading the "recommendation" thread. I've read but couldnt find answers to my question. Or maybe i just typed the keywords wrong sweat.gif

Your amp blow too hard until pancit.... That's why put up RED flag and surrender.

Tell your installer your problem, if your installer ask you to buy new amp, then you can start looking for other installer.

...unless your amp is faulty. Less likely but possible.

since your amp going kaput suggest u get a new 4ch amp (for fronts and sub)

also get a 6.5 inch component set for the fronts (midrange, tweeter, xover).

maybe can change to double din player on next upgrade. 2.4k not enuff for all at same time

not really, he does have options for low budget though. however good or not is highly subjective. personally i would stick with reputable brands, which will cost a bomb even for an entry. (lowest level)

while its between 2-3k, i am merely pointing out on the "more than enough" part, which also does not include installation/tuning smile.gif
