havent it already been released for one month?

if they are not rooted, they can still use odin flash the official ICS right?

the previous stock official GB that i flash is from germany.
no difference at all with the malaysian rom. i mean, things like market, calender, etc works fine. no app compatibility issue

i used to be like that also, waiting for 2.3.6 via kies.
finally an update came, but its still 2.3.3.

i tried to update via kies, its sooo buggy. re tried 3 times to download that 200MB file, always fail and need redownload again. finally got it working on my netbook that has no antivirus. somehow the kaspersky is stopping it from working.

also kies is very buggy. backup my contacts, calender and memo, when wana restore, says fail. keep trying until today also fail. duno what good is kies for. the worst rubbish software, even worst than itunes!

odin on the other hand, fast and stable.

i dont think s2 will ever have 100% pure ICS experience.
dont get mad first, hear me out, let me elaborate.

ICS meant for full touch screen without hardware buttons,
the on screen buttons are back, home & recent apps.

i running CM9 on my tablet, i really get the full feel of ics,
because if you want to close the current app, you can do this swift combination.
tap home, tap recent app, swipe away the one at the bottom.

very fast and smooth gesture, tap+tap+swipe, to close an app. (can be done in 1 second)

so far the official ICS and custom ICS, all use the long press home button to bring up recent app.
no longer can do the "tap tap swipe" combo to close app.

the recent app is a really useful button, but to activate it by long pressing home button,
it really cripple the whole ics experience.

i have flash installed. it was working all this while. just from ysterday onwards, it stop working.
any idea how to fix? got happen to you before? look at the file i attach, there is a weird small icon after i tap every flash video.

i just tried hydrogenics the other day. but i didnt like it, so restore back to GB via cwm restore.

uninstall with TB then reinstall from market.

no idea why it stopped working in the first place. weird....

if not mistaken, it happen after the flash update. then i use TB to integrate updated system app into rom.

maybe this caused the prob.

Sigh....another weird unknown g version issue.
Some one should start a new official thread for g version bugs and issues.
Camera hang, SD card cause hang, player skip track, now internal memory also can corrupt.

This thread is split to discussing custom roms for non g and bug reporting for g.

I can already predict, people will say are you using memory card, try remove and see still got prob or not.
Got install pirated apps? Camera normal hang la no choice, wait for Samsung update.
