After looking at some videos of one x, im kinda dissapointed with the performance. It lags from time to time, like opening app drawer, it just takes too long, considering its a quad core. Problem may be fixed with a software update, but right now, sgs2 still beats one x in terms of regular animations in my opinion.

A reason that might interest average non tech savvy users is beats audio. Some may even buy it JUST for the beats, as beats is generally labelled as high end to average users, when in fact the beats audio is only an equalizer setting and the earphones are still generic ones.

Ok, back to sgs2 for me now sweat.gif

Yeah i wanna see the manly pink Unicorn with rainbow mane.

After trying it, it's very nice to use with the extra function.  Expecially like the on screen buttons and power saving.

It's not the distance, it's the depth. The depth of the earthquake is reported at only 33km deep. Which is shallow enough to create a tsunami travelling at ~800km/h. Either it's hitting Sumatra now or on it's way.

By the way guys, I will be flashing WESTCRİP'S ROM.  drool.gif
*
Isnt 33km deep already?

Why not go for hydrogenics?

Why is everybody here moving on to Hydrogen ICS? What advantage does it have over the regular Samsung based ones? I mean, the Samsung ones are also themed into the pure ICS colours. So I see no difference.
*
Mainly for the pure ics experience, samsung ones are just themed, still have samsung feel in it, i prefer stock ics feel biggrin.gif

I started with Resurrection Remix v1.2. Although I wipe my phone and tried 2-3 times, I just couldn't get pass the boot screen.
I flashed the Main ROM, followed by Siyah kernel and then the Navigation fix....but somehow got error message that sdcard cannot find or something like that....
Then I flash Hydrogenics, managed to reboot. As I played around a bit I got some FC when using file explorer. I also can't seem to locate my external sd card...
Then I flashed to Criskelo V7, after booting in, I have an option to select TW Launcher or Apex. I tried TW, force closed. Tried Apex, can go in.....I reboot the phone and try again, now Apex FC!!! TW also FC...

Finally flashed to Turkbey V4....everthing is working...phew
*
On AOSP roms, external sd is in /emmc

*
Yes, you will lose ur apps and such, but ur data in internal/external sd card will remain intact unless u wipe those too

Just follow what other system apps permissions are. if im not mistaken, is the left vertical row tick all three, and the middle vertical row tick only the first one

One thing I don't like about AOKP is the lack of some TW features like slide left/right to call/message. Oh god really missed that one.

Edit: And long hold home button doesn't seem to bring up any recent used apps  rclxub.gif

You have to tick something in settings, but i forgot where already sweat.gif maybe try searchig in rom control

I would wait for the S4 or the S5 then only change. As it is, quad cores are more of a gimmick. The only real use I see is in tablets with 1080p or 1200p screens. Those need more processing power. But even then, nothing can ever come close to the performance and functionality of a Tablet PC.

All you see online are fantastic benchmarks from Tegra 3. But what is the point if the user experience will be the same? It is not like Crysis 3 is going to ever come out on phones and tablets..

Haha ok thought he was familiar
I always think the same, then some nifty lil feature comes out and you get tempted biggrin.gif

Rather than quad nonsense, I see fast camera for one as an attractive feature. NFC would be nice to use with smart tags as well. Guess higher res and bigger screen is up there in my want list as well tongue.gif

And yeah, tablets are cool, but if you had the cash, getting airbook or zenbooks (or whatever u call em) would be better. Still, touch screen gaming seems to sit well with casual gamers. (which I'm starting to lean towards, with the lack of time due to work, etc)
*
I still think ultrabooks are overrated. In the end, its software experience that counts, not how powerful the phone is. That's why im waaay more interested in gnex than the one x, which lags in doing tasks that should not lag at all. I'd still rather get a powerful laptop over a tablet any day, tablets are a little overrated in my opinion. I'd get a tablet only if i had the extra cash
