Ninja uses ancient ZZR 250 engine.... A very lazy revving engine....

CBR 250R uses a new high tech engine....

FC also better than Ninja.... Climbing hills is much easier with the CBR....

Talking about sound, both also crap....

So the choice is obvious....

any opinion on its sound.. exoze pipe sound

cbr 1 cylinder
ninja 2 cylinder

which 1 better?

130km of highway riding or city riding?

both are suitable for you. let me try to explain the difference between these two bike.
Ninja are using inline 2 engine, a very lazy engine in low rev, you are going to work a bit harder in traffic, but have the top speed advantage if you get a clear highway (how often do you find that in KL..)
CBR are using a single cylinder engine, engine response in very quick. better for traffic, not as powerful in top RPM, but how often do we do that on everyday basis?
CBR are the lighter and nimbler bike for traffic
maintenance, the CBR use less amount of engine oil, so CBR win.

well, i`ll be damned, the CBR win hands down. 250`ers not going to like this..

anyway, my suggestion is test drive both first..

depends, once in my short life i travel 100km everyday, through heavy traffic doh.gif

old road, from taiping to selama... the road consider wide and straight, thats y im thinking to get a bigger bike..

so what bout full maintenance? CBR high or kawasaki?.
resell value which 1 high?
what bout the sound of the exzos pipe? im looking for a rough sound...

Highway: Ninja
Town: CBR

Besides that, u could add another 10K and get er6f/n. If u looking for 2nd hand, even cheaper. The 10K price different really worth it. ER6 is the only lower range price bike that could keep up with bigger bikes @ around 160-170km/h cruising speed. At that speed, CBR or Ninja already full throttle.

If u not really looking for top end power/speed, u better get the sym 250i. More practical, low FC, and storage space for your basics (even laptop).

yes im thinking about it as well... ER6.. the problem is my license B2 only... i need to get new license..really no time for that.. eday working.. 8 - 6pm
