QUOTE(ganabathi @ Apr 6 2012, 10:22 PM) good question... 130km of highway riding or city riding?to my workplace.. every day im traveling around 130km... now using 100cc motorbike.... this bike not suit for long journey.. small bike really tiring.... both are suitable for you. let me try to explain the difference between these two bike. Ninja are using inline 2 engine, a very lazy engine in low rev, you are going to work a bit harder in traffic, but have the top speed advantage if you get a clear highway (how often do you find that in KL..) CBR are using a single cylinder engine, engine response in very quick. better for traffic, not as powerful in top RPM, but how often do we do that on everyday basis? CBR are the lighter and nimbler bike for traffic maintenance, the CBR use less amount of engine oil, so CBR win. well, i`ll be damned, the CBR win hands down. 250`ers not going to like this.. anyway, my suggestion is test drive both first.. I cant relate riding the CBR like riding a kapcai, yeah sureee my modded LC feel more torquey, but its not built for speed anyway.
Well, I might be damned for saying this.. For half the price of these two, you can get the Kawasaki ZX150KRR. Lower maintenance, same speed. |

QUOTE(watonk @ Apr 9 2012, 01:50 PM) Besides that, u could add another 10K and get er6f/n. If u looking for 2nd hand, even cheaper. The 10K price different really worth it. ER6 is the only lower range price bike that could keep up with bigger bikes @ around 160-170km/h cruising speed. At that speed, CBR or Ninja already full throttle. You forget about the Blade 650 |
