QUOTE(orangutan @ Dec 14 2013, 10:57 AM) Hi Jovenne, Dear Orangutan,I am considering to install UniFi but have headache figuring the installation of the cable. House set up: Ground floor: Living room -> Kitchen, Bathroom, Room -> Extended Kitchen Top floor: Living room/space with high wall -> Room, Bathroom, Room Top floor have very high wall at the living room/space where drilling for the cable entry is possible The green box is at the back lane, I saw my neighbor's cable pull up to top floor. So my question / fear / factor is how much will it cost to pull cable? They have to go up to top floor, over the roof of bedroom, drill hole at living room/space high wall. If you can help me with this, I'm all go for UniFi immediately. First of all, I am so sorry for my late reply. Back to your question, unifi installation is free for the 1st 15m (white cable) from the FTB (white colour box which installed outside your house) to the place you setup your modem. For non-standard installation like Over-ceiling (black cable) will costs you RM170 for the First 30m and additional per metre is RM2 So in your case, it is depending on you to opt for standard or non-standard as Contractor can drill from the wall instead of go overceiling Thank you. Best regards, Jovenne |

QUOTE(orangutan @ Dec 18 2013, 12:44 PM) Hi,When you apply for unifi, TM will auto assigned their contractor to do the installation. Now we cannot choose our own contractor to do installation anymore However, don't worry too much because the price is all standard and you can bargain the price with them summore If you are not agree with the price quoted by them (if they really conned), you can request to change contractor. |
