hehe gonna get my superhero action figs soon

btw, do you guys know if its cheaper to buy lego overseas compared to MY? going Australia soon so not sure if its cheaper to buy there/cheaper to get international shipping to AUS instead of MY!
American companies like shop.lego.com and Amazon don't ship to AUS, so you can't enjoy the cheaper prices. For shopping in Australia the best time to shop for Lego is if you're going around late June, early July cause you'll be able to catch the Australian Toy Sale.
If not, your best bet would be to try Kmart and Big W. Big W normally sells for slightly below Aussie RRP (which is still quite high and only a bit cheaper than Malaysian pricing). Kmart has pretty good deals if you're lucky (for eg, my last trip I bought the Garbage Truck for AU$20) and they usually have pretty good clearance deals for older sets.
For the bigger department stores, Myer/David Jones, they occasionally have Buy 2 Free 1 deals for Toys or Buy One Get One 50% off deals if you're lucky. Target has pretty consistent 20% off sales on Lego, but as all the previous deals it's all about timing.
Don't even bother about TRU in Australia unless you're interested in exclusive sets like the Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape, they jack up their prices way above RRP and even when they have sales, it's not worth it. For example, Series 7 minifigs cost AU$5 per pack there.
For eg, here's the RRP prices for the Marvel Sets.
Captain America: $25
Wolverine: $50
Loki's cube: $50
Hulk: $100
Quinjet: $130
In conclusion, UNLESS the sets are on sale, buying in Australia is not REALLY worth it.
Lemme know if you have any questions, I travel to Australia pretty often so I can point you towards good places to buy if you're keen.
