Or in short, they did not have the resource to port and let it run properly to PC. Considering most "next gen" games does not have their games running on all 3 PC, PS4 and Xbone. MGSV, Destiny and The Division only runs on PS4 and Xbone. Titan Fall for PC, 360 and Xbone only.

EA and their shitty PR, seriously.

Its sports games anyway, mostly the same every year. No offence but sports games are the most iterative genre out there where there arent anything to change.

Although I totally agreed with you on the sport game genre (really wonder why ppl still buying the 'sequel' every year!?), but to be fair, my gf also said all FPS and action games look the same... sweat.gif (She hate gaming....)

- Battle field & COD and all FPS games:Tatatatatattatata kabooom! All the SAME!
- DMC series & other hack and slash game: chop chop jump jump -> handsome pose! All the SAME!
- ARPG games like Diabodoh, Quest of Titan: run here... run here... run everywhere.... All the SAME!

Well, they want their roster update and the owners demands publishers to sell one every year.

The thing is, sure, every FPS, RTS, ARPG and so on looked the same from the surface but the mechanics, goals, or even visual style are different if you looked in depth. Sports games on the other hand, they are essentially the same from day 1, except some of the mechanics changed a bit year by year with slightly better graphics at times because the sport itself is mostly the same since a hundred years ago.

Not to forget, most sports games are only made by EA and no one else make them which made it even more stale for me. Those are really good games though, but they just arent for me.

I explained the same to her, like the background design (futuristic/ gothic/ fantasy...), atmosphere (horror/ trilling....) and also the puzzle solving, but i think if she don't like it, she don't like it mega_shok.gif

Btw, compare to EA's sport game, to me (ok to me only) the background forever the same: the field! What else can it be, may be next time can play badminton on raging volcano? laugh.gif

I don't think it is reasonable for a multi billion company to say they "don't have the resource" when smaller company like CD Projeck can do it properly.

The Division from Ubisoft is most probably coming to PC and maybe just a timed exclusive on consoles.

The same thing with Destiny.

I am not saying that the game must release concurrently on all platforms at the same time, it is OK if more time is needed to optimize it for PC if needed. For strictly single player games like MGS5, releasing it as a bundle with all the bonus contents and maybe some added features like what Castlevania:LOS do is actually feasible.

Firstly, CDPR's RED Engine was made with Witcher 2, where PC only for initial release, then, they took a year to port it to 360 while PS3 still didnt get a port of Witcher 2. For Witcher 3, they are using the same but upgraded engine for consoles so your point is pretty much incorrect that they did have enough resource to release a game with a new engine on all major platforms right out of the gate.

Probably Destiny, MGS5 and Division will come to PC. Probably, but did Bungie, Kojima and Ubisoft confirmed that we will get it on PC? No, they havent confirmed yet and all these games are using brand new in house engine that is very difficult to release simultaneously on all 3 platforms, just like CDPR with RED Engine on Witcher 2. At worst case, Ignite will eventually be on PC just like the previous FIFA engine.

At the end, it is just EA with their shitty PR. If they said something along the lines of what Bungie, Ubisoft and Kojima said, the outcome wont be that bad. Bash them if you want, as EA deserved it anyway.

There is also a NBA game by 2K that is pretty damn good. Better than FIFA to be honest due to their live match tracking feature.

ooo...Arenanet style. need to look at their T&C carefully 1st. later they said u play more than 5min or progress more than 1%, cannot refund.

previously on Arenaet for GW2, copy purchase from their site can ask for full refund. Condition : Game purchase < 3mths. More than that, they can't refund to you.

still, its a good offer/service. eg. like D3 for me sad.gif

so their future strategy basically is bloating the size of the game so you cannot download finish before 1 to 2 days? tongue.gif
